why is pokemon rated y on kids wb and y7 on toonami? its the same exact show noobish question but ive been wondering...why dont they just put an uncut version on toonami there isnt any major blood or violence to cut out. the only thig they would have to do is cut out the cursing and they wouldnt even have to rate it pg

Because CN gives it a Y7 ratings. It's the exact same dub aired on both channels.

And the Japanese Pokemon does NOT have any nudity, violence/blood, or profanity. It's a kids show in Japan as it is everywhere else in the world.

Well, it has a little profanity, like when Surge said "God damn!" But it's rare.

Which was waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay back in the begining of the show. And only in the Japanese version. And the only time it ever happened. ;

The most risque the anime gets nowadays is Giovanni drinking wine or May walking around in skimpy swimsuits.

This show needs more fanservice. :/
