Rayquaza is too hard...

Yeah Team Fire-Leaf needs some help. I have Chikorita with the moves: Tackle, Secret Power, Razor Leaf and Bullet Seed. I'm Cyndaquil with: Tackle, Smokecreen, Ember and Flame Wheel. And last is Absol with the moves : Scratch, Quick Attack, Ice Beam and Taunt.

I generally go with this combo: To first get it to come to me that step in between, by throwing Spikes/thorns. Then I use Smokecreen and then Bullet Seed and Icebeam/Quick Attack/Scartch.

It works most of the time I guess but I always faint. I think it's the randomness of Smokescreen, but without it I would surely die in 2 turns max.

I want to know if Razor Leaf and Quick Attack could be used for long distances, help is appreciated greatly.

< That's me! Hello!
Razor leaf hits anyone in a strait line away from the user while Quick attack hits any one two spaces away in a straight line even if some one is directly in front of the user. All I can suggest is to level up more to improve your ability to endure Rayquaza's attacks. Link moves help too.

Quick Attack can go a space away.

Ex:

O-X

O = you
X = enemy
- = attack

Get a couple of Link Boxes. They'll help tons. Bring Max Elixirs, Throw Sleep Seeds at Rayquaza and keep on having Absol use Ice Beam. That's what I'd try if I were you.

Rayquaza is pretty hard, i did it with NO items with the miracle of rayquaza constantly missing

<--will be mine
Link boxes do help.
I only beat him on my first try because I was strange enough to teach myself (Cubone) Ice Beam...

Now, Kyogre, he was tough...

It was weird for me because I almost died in his dungeon, so I assumed I'd die at the boss, but I didn't. o_O; I remember he was kinda easy, but I think all his attacks kept missing me.

Hagane_Gir

>.< I eat children..
I think I beat him on the first try. Although I did die, I had a reviver seed which was incredibly useful.

Caterpie Master

Oh My! Noodlesoup!
Use Bullet See.
It's one of the most powerfull attacks in MD.
Bring some seeds, like reviver and Teeter Seeds, they really help a lot.
You can find Teeter seeds in Howling Forest.

Swellow_91

I won't give up!
In the first half of the game I always made sure I had a Link Box with me. You know , to link all my moves together . Anyway , I suggest you do that and bring some Reviver Seeds. Maybe teach one of your pokés Attract , it's very useful.

I beat Rayquaza as a Charmader with a Chikorita who knew Tackle, Bullet Seed, Synthesis, and Razor Leaf.

Bullet Seed pwned Rayquaza, as did my repeated Scratch. I beat him on my FIRST try.

pokemon rulez!!!!!

Awesome Dialga!
Ok do this,toss a spike,stick,or something first turn. Get cynderquil to use somkescreen and Chickorita to use razor leaf,then get Absol to sneak around to Rayquaza's back. Repeat this till Absol is ALMOST all the way behind Rayquaza then drill Rayquaza with ice beam and continue Chickorita's and Cynderquil's attacks along with Absol's ice beam. Trust me,it sould work...
