RBY Monotype Challenge

Hmm, I never thought of playing through with only one type.
I'm about to start a Water run. Just to clear things up: would I be allowed to catch a non-water pokemon and use it as an HM slave, so long as I don't battle with it?

Yes. Otherwise, most types would be impossible, as you wouldn't be able to surf to Cinnibar.

I decided to start a flying type game. I am currently in viridian forest training pidgey and metapod. I intend to get charizard, gyarados, and zapdos.

I started a Yellow Monotype challange, only using electric types.

I lost against the first Rival battle, and after lots of training beat the second.

I swept through Viridian forest, and beat Brock with Double Team and Struggle.

I trained Sir Steve up, then caught 10 pokes and got Flash

I went through Rock Tunnel, Pikachu was the only one would could defeat he Rock Types. (Mega Punch is very powerful).

I wnt to Celadon and got myself an Eevee. I am now training so I can squish Erika.

i'm doing the all too easy Poison type since this is my first challenge.

I started with Pikachu (I'm on yellow obviously)
I then caught a Nidoran male and female.

I just got through the forest and i'm training the nido's up to learn Double Kick and totally own those rock types.

I had a worthless day at school so I got pretty far.

Brock was amazingly easy with Double Kick. Bind gave me some trouble but I got through it. After getting to Mt. Moon, I taught the female Nido Water Gun to take care of ground types. I caught a Zubat and Clefairy(i like them) and started training Zubat. I swept through the mountain thanks to alot of potions. Andrew proved no problem especially when Batmon learned Bite. I picked up Charmander and Oddish on the cape. Oddmon's absorb completely owned Misty. I went through the SS Anne and am just about to challenge Lt. Surge.
