It has come to my attention that people have been receiving chain PMs saying stuff like "forward this to 15 people or else you will have bad luck". Or something like that.

These PMs are annoying to a lot of people, and can be classed as spam. Especially when people start receiving them in bulk. So please, no more chain PMs. If you get one, tell a staff member.

Repeated sending of spam PMs to people will result in a ban or possibly your PM privileges being revoked. Oh, and I'll send the rabid Plusles after you too.

Thank you for posting this. I had no idea that chain PMs were so bad, and unfortunately, I added to the problem. I now know to never do it again.
Also, I deeply apologize to all the people who got it from me.

I just recieved one, and deleted it promptly. Please- these are really, really annoying- don't send them or pass them on.

Kinda sad how I sent one 1 minute after this announcement was posted...I just thought it was "fun". Turns out I'm wrong...as usual. T_T I won't ever send them again...because I won't be getting them.

I didn't make the "goal" of 15 people, fortunately.

P.S. Please don't send the rabid Plusles after me. :(

I am happy I never got any. But I get them in e-mails from my freind and they are so stupid.
"Send this to at least 15 freinds or you will be kidnapped by this guy" That is what one of them said and it was incredibly stupid. So are chain PM's.

my friend sends them to me too... that's why I've gotten into the habit of sending them, (friend always buggs me to do so) -_-.... they really are annoying....

If I ever get one, I'll treat it just like Chain E-mails. I throw them straight away.

What the HELL is the point of chain (ANYTHING) anyway?

People, chain (letters, e-mails, PMs, whatever) are just a waste of time. You send it on, nothing good will happen. You don't send it on, nothing bad will happen.

I've gotten ONE, which I deleted, and to be honest, anyone who sends these things to people is sad. Very sad :/

I remember something similar to this happening last year or two years ago. It included things in people's signatures. Well it was a little better then, but no less annoying.

I have not seen any of these things, but if I had, I would have just deleted it on the spot. They are not fun to recieve. They are not fun to send. Anyone who disagrees needs to learn a little about life. Anything chain is stupid, pointless, annoying and useless. Anyone who takes those things seriously also needs to learn that not sending something out to another person is not going to give you bad luck. What's the person going to do, attach a curse to their pm?

I got 2, deleted them on sight, and sent an angry letter to the people who sent them. Haven't gotten any since. But still, it's great that someone addressed this. Too bad no one actually reads the announcements.

I've been sent a few of the one that's circling at the moment. But it didn't particulary bother me in any way as i just ignored them all like i do all chain mail, hmm. I guess it's only annoying when you get bombarded with them.

Haha, there's always something going on and people are reminded of common sense again~
