Only real men can play Super Princess Peach. Only the men who actually care about gaming and are secure with their masculenity can maturly purchase this game and not even give it a second thought.

Allow me to say that anyone who ranks on the Peach game for appearing "girly" and "weird" should realize the Super Mario world is odd enough on its own. >_> What with Mario and Luigi stomping and smashing chestnuts with legs and kicking turtles out of their shells or knocking out flying, giant bullets out of the sky.
All while growing bigger with mushrooms, shooting out fireballs with the aid of a flower, growing a raccoon tail and flying thanks to a feather.

And I have to agree with what EE said about the Mario world beeing wierd. I mean, he surfs on Jellyfish and his arch rival is a fire breathing turtle with a spikey shell.

Well, I haven't exactly thought the whole idea through yet, but I was thinking that I would only get a system from every other generation. Like, skip PS3, get PS4, skip PS5, get PS6, etc.Kez said:

THERE'S NO $50 HERE!
I've been anticipating Super Princess Peach since it was announced in Famitsu. After beating Yoshi's Island at the age of 11, I've waited to see another full-fledged 2D Mario game hit the shelves (10 years). Portable or not, the GBA was due for an original Mario platformer but since Nintendo screwed that up, the DS will do even better for that chance.
I don't care whether or not Nintendo plans on giving Peach more lead roles, I just want a good game and this is it.
If anything, I'm surprised I haven't died of a Mario overdose what with New Super Mario Bros (my first SMB game in 14 years...SMW was SMB4 and I'm sticking to it) being 3 months away and the POSSIBLE release of Mario 128 prior to Nintendo Revolution's launch.
But seriously, if you let your machismo get in the way of good game, maybe you should put down that controller and reflect on what you're doing with your life. I mean videogames aren't necessarily a "manly" thing to do to begin with. If you're interested, buy the freaking game, don't be wishy washy about what OTHERS think.

Going off-topic but still... Won't it be hard to track down some of the games you want to play from old consoles? It's already impossible to get hold of some GC and XBox games. As for the DS there is a good chance that Nintendo will not make another system with it's capabilities, therefore making backwards compatibility difficult.MagicBox said:

This one has some unique thing but, not super unique. [SPOIL]She has a magic power bar. She has on the bottom screen 4 hearts to represent emotions. The emotion powers use up the magic. Angry catches things on fire. Sad causes crying and tons of water and she runs fast, happy is flying and windy, calm she gains health back. To restore magic you either have your magic umbrella absorb the enemy for magic or scroung around to look in the level. It feels like a combo of the wario/yoshi/mario platformers. There are more puzzles such as crying to water a vine to grow and climb up it. You also want to try finding and rescueing three toads scattered across the level. You also grab coins to buy minigames and special abilities(such as you can buy the ability to float around).[/SPOIL]

How is the Mario world odd at all when compared to many other video game series? Seriously. As far as I´m concerned Kingdom Hearts is on much more crack. >>
Anyways, I´m not really looking forward that much to this game. Just a remake of the old Mario 2D platformers with the princess because they can´t think of any other character they haven´t used already.

I'm secure with my Masculinity and might get the game. But I wouldn't dare play it at school - then people would think I'm gay and I don't really need that >>;

Now that this game is supposed to be out and all.. does anyone recommend it? I am not sure if it is worth buying since not too many critics are crazy about it; even Nintendo Power. If this game is like the Super Mario World games, I would probably like it.

If it's a good game I'll get it. Haven't read any reviews or anything yet so can't be sure, sounds good from what you guys are saying though. Probably the deciding factor for me would be it's replay value. I like a game that on it's 1000th play, is still entertaining. Much like Pokemon

I planned on buying it based on the fact that i love mario games and tehy have never let me down before. I will proudly walk to the counter and announce it if i have to that i am buying this game. Mario games are awsome, i dont care what any of you say.
