I quite like these.

It's sort of funny to see everyone complaining that it's 'too dark' and 'ruining Pokemon' to do fanart like that. We're talking about a universe where ten year olds are sent out into the wild by themselves to capture intelligent animals by force, bending them to their will, and where almost all arguments are solved by making these animals fight until one is seriously injured and cannot fight anymore.

Pretty dark, if you consider it that way!

Gothic Pokémon shouldn't be cute. Realistic ones should, IMO, if the Pokémon itself started off as cute beforehand. I for one adored the Clefable posted earlier in this thread. That is a realistic Pokémon done right!

Of course, you not liking cute stuff is your opinion. Just don't flame everyone else for theirs.

As for this: Realistic Jirachi, this is a realistic Pokémon done horribly wrong. It looks like a repainted lizard in the style of a Jirachi, rather than a Jirachi as it would look in real life. That's the problem I have with it.

That Haxorus one looks quite cool, I have to agree with the fact they look kind of scary though, I don't want to know what a realistic Gengar or Darkrai would look like though, they are creepy enough.

I love how you hate the less skeletal looking thing. I personally love them both and think they're both realistic. Keep in mind that Darkrai is the personification of nightmares.
