I Crush Everything
I have seen people posting about how they were afraid that certain pokemon might be banned and it cracked me up, so I have decided to post a thread about it.
Now, the pokemon that have already been banned are:
Jynx - For being a "stereotype". I read the article and it looks as if jynx itself wasn't a stereotype, but just somewhat resembled another character who really was stereotypical and offended the "soccer mom" by reminding her of an ancient stereotype. Here's something I'd like to know. To keep it from looking offensive, jynx was turned purple, but dogasu has shown that some purple jynxes have been cencored out. Why are they cencoring out the purple ones? I thought the whole stereotype thing was straightened out. (p. s. There were other pokemon people said were stereotypes, but I believe the people didn't like them for being pokemon, not stereotypes. The stereotype thing was probably just an exuse to hate them.)
Porygon - I know it's not officially banned, but it might as well be. It's never shown. Its unofficial ban was caused by its feature episode triggering seisures.
The pokemon who haven't been banned, but have offended someone are:
Zubat - For having a "swastica" in its card. The swastica proved to not be real.
Houndoom - For being "satanic". Dragonfree's old site gives a good explaination for why it is not.
Now, in this thread, you all can discuss crazy reasons why pokemon might be banned. Be ridiculous as you like and remember that this is supposed to be for fun.
