This is my new fic after i acidentally deleted my old one. I've also lost the story to that one so i abandoned it. This new one i hope is better. All writing in italics is a pokemon speaking.
“Raz. We’ve bin over this dozens of times and my answer is always the same. No. You may not leave on a pokemon adventure.” Raz had asked to leave on his quest 24 times on his last count. The answer was always the same.
“But mum. My friends have all left on there adventures. And me and Kecleon can handle ourselves.” Raz complained.
“Well if you can then why can’t you find him? And get upstairs and sort your hair out.” His mum was really infuriated.
“Mum. Kecleon is only playing, my hair is fine the way it is and this wouldn’t happen if dad was here he’d let me go.”
“Raz you shall never speak of your father.”
“You no what? I’m gonna be like him and just leave.”
“You are not I order you to go upstairs and don’t let me see you for at least a week.”
“Kecleon come on.” Raz’s green chameleon pokemon followed him upstairs and into his room. “God. I’m thirteen years old and I can’t even become a trainer. Kecleon I think it would be a good idea if you stay here. Mum’s lonely since dad left. And although she can be heartless she needs some company” Kecleon nodded in agreement and passed Raz his backpack. He packed into it all essentials such as sweets and over much needed stuff. He then went into his en-suite bathroom to fix his hair the way he wanted it. Naturally his hair was a blonde colour but had it died red. His long hair was usually hidden from his mother because he would never remove his hood. After fixing his hair he decided to let it flow out meaning he kept his hood off. Without his hood casting a shadow over his head his emerald coloured eyes could be seen more clearly. His only worries were sneaking out of his house and getting a pokemon as they were most common around his home town exit. He was supposed to get a starter pokemon but that was over a month away. His stuff packed he set it down next to his door and set his alarm clock to go off at 4:25 and settled down to sleep.
In the morning his alarm went off and the only response Raz made was a grunt and throwing his alarm at Kecleon who woke him up personally. Raz was glad now that he wouldn’t have to say goodbye whilst he was asleep and could say it personally when they were both awake. His only plan was; sneak out the house and, the worst part, steal a pokemon from the day care centre. He knew it was wrong but he would let the pokemon choose to journey with him. He ate his breakfast speedily and got dressed into a new red hooded top and dark blue jeans. The hooded top was the final thing he received from his father. Putting his hands inside the pocket he noticed a small round object. Pulling it out revealed it to be a luxury ball. With this pokeball he could make any pokemon caught with it more friendly faster. Saying good bye and that he will return for it someday he left Kecleon. His eyes were set on the day care centre just over the hill of his home town of Niguni town. The centre would hopefully supply with one pokemon willing to accompany him. The place was guarded with Houndoom and Arcanine. Dangerous fire types. Having passed many times he knew that the east side had three Houndoom and two Arcanine. The north had five Houndoom and no Arcanine. The south was guarded by six Houndoom and four Arcanine and the east had two Houndoom and a single Arcanine. He would enter through the south side as it was most heavily guarded meaning they would have better pokemon on that side. Being cautious he crept up to the window and saw many pokemon asleep. Among the few that were easily recognisable were an Espeon, a green Tediursa, meaning it was a shiny, a Sneasel and the rest were hard to notice in the dark frosty morning. Hearing footsteps of a pokemon he dived for cover. Seeing two Houndoom walking together past him he waited for them to pass. Five minutes later they had gone from sight. Climbing over the fence into the egg nursery he sneaked through the small yard, intentioned for baby pokemon to get exercise, and headed for the door. The door however was locked as he had thought but before his father had left, he was taught to pick locks. Taking only 2 minutes the door clicked and swung open. Inside were eggs all on shelves. In the corner was a door leading to the room were the Nurses and there pokemon slept at night. Shutting the door silently behind him, he crept across the carpeted floor towards the next door opposite the one he came through. Inside this room were pokemon all lying on the floor. But by the window sat a pokemon that was wide awake but Raz hadn’t noticed. Creeping between the slumps of pokemon asleep on the floor he checked for any that would possibly be of use. “What is it you are looking for trainer. If you have no reason for being here I’ll have to ask you to leave.”
