Recommendations for Drama/Adventure/Dialogue

^^;; I haven't been inactive, just been busy with schoolwork, friends, family, and writing my new load of short stories and whatnot while managing Rhapsody on this forum. So, yes, I'm still alive.

I'll keep it short and sweet; while writing my three-part short story called Evolution, I stumbled upon a few problems that might delay my progress for a bit of time in future fanfiction writing. I want to dig deep into emotions and dramatic scenes in my stories (I want to explore my character's feelings and have them put an impact on the readers, or at least, some of them. And, I want to have dramatic scenes that are actually dramatic and can connect to the readers in many ways to have them collaborate better). Also, I want to learn more about writing adventure stories and stepping up my game when it comes to dialogue, my weakest spots in fanfictions.

Are there any recommendations (this can be books, fanfictions on the board, whatever you have read on/offline) for anything pertaining to emotions, drama, adventure plots/novels, and/or good dialogue? Anything would work; it doesn't have to be fanfictions/books pertaining to all of the things I'm looking for.

Thanks ~ Serpent Syra

Ah, thank you very much for a recommendation written by yourself, I'll be sure to check it out as soon as I can. ^^

A good, emotion book would be anything in the Harry Potter series. xXSaberXx's story, 'Pokemon Revelation: Cross of Fates', is one of the best stories for emotion between characters. Hope I helped, Syra! :D

For adventure, try the Chrestomanci books by Diana Wynne Jones (Charmed, Witch Week, and The Many Lives of Christopher Chant)

For drama or dialogue, try Far From Xanadu by Julie Anne Peters.

^^ I'll try looking for Far From Xanadu sometime this weekend; for dialogue, the only book(s) that are of great quality when it comes to dialogue is the Bartimaeus Trilogy, in which I am reading at this time.

Thank you all for the wonderful suggestions!
