Recruiting mew

First of all you need the musci box.
But it has an use option,if i use it it crumbles to dust.
Do i have to use it so mew will apear or just to have it?

you just need to have it with you.
i didn't use it and found mew, and it says under "info" that you just need to have it close to attract something special(mew)

Any floor 36-99. If you recruit it though, you get teleported out.

Noothing,and i walked around every floor with x-ray specs on.
