Can you recruit a Pokemon when you are taking a pokemon on a mission to 1 in the dungeon?

Yes, you can recruit pokemon during an escort.

Taking into consideration the pokemon that you might wanna recruit is a size 1, you can only recruit 1 more due to the group size. Until your escort leaves, then you can get another.

The escort counts as a normal team member until you deliver him so if the escort is the 4th person on the team you wont ever have 5 pokemon in the team. ;123;
