Has anyone else experienced connectivity issues with yellow-background raids?

In the Y-comm, when I am looking to join raids hosted by other people, some of the stamps have a red background, while others have a yellow. I have noticed no distinction between gigantomax/dynomax, the star rating of the raid, or the type of pokemon that can appear in the raid.

In point of fact, the only difference I have been able to distinguish is that, when I join a red bg raid, it almost always results in me successfully joining, and completing the raid. On the other hand, the yellow ones either never connect at all, or successfully connect only for the host to leave (resulting in the rest of us being kicked back out) most of the time. Is it maybe an indicator of connection strength to the host?

I've searched online and every time the search gets saturated outlining the difference between the red and purple beams instead. Any info. would be much appreciated!
