I know a couple of months ago I said you could post pictures in posts to express your opinion

However one of those conditions to me allowing that was that you didnt just post that picture and then add nothing to the discussion

This condition has been broken so many times its really annoying and is essentially SPAM

So I'm sorry to do this but you are no longer allowed to post those stupid pictures in threads anymore...if you do it will be classed as SPAM and you will get a warning

And let the flaming begin with me having to close this by Page 10

I've never seen people post them myself, but as I don't go to as many forums as others... And yes, having a dial-up must be annoying, I can amagine a situation where you take a look at a thread only to find it filled with pictures, it's not exactly my idea of having fun. I often have to restart my (other) computer when I find a thread with lots of pictures, and it's pretty annoying (Yet I don't learn from it ^_^; ). Though, there are rarely any threads here with that many pictures, and especially not with those kinds of pics.

he's talking about those "orly" pictures and stuff.

What the ****, Joe. That's BULLSH*T. Complete and utter bullsh*t.

All you had to say was that posting only those kinds of pictures would be spam. You didn't have to make it against the rules to put those. And yes, you did say it before, but yanno what? You need to put it in the ACTUAL RULES for it to take effect. Whoamg, idea. So instead of saying posts with only those pictures would be spam and then ENFORCING it, you just do away with them entirely. The smileys however....

This is total bullsh*t.

Dude, this is a blatant implement to justify your vendetta against Josh. Sorry but this is too coincidental to take seriously, especially since the pictures are generally amusing, and therefore not technically spam, since 'spam' is essentially something that serves no purpose and is not appreciated.

What does [spoil]ORLY[/spoil] mean anyway? Does it stand for something? Or does it just mean 'with the mouth'?

Orly = oh, really?

And anyways, I would have to agree and say that banning someone before making the rule is not fair. :<

As I said when you convinced me to allow them ID, I will only let them happen if the poster had an actual post to go with it since the pictures are bordering on spam and just posting them IS spam, over the last few weeks I have seen them being posted with less and less and less actual post...Josh's just did push me over, partially due to size and the fact the only thing with it was "-_-;"

This wasnt to go with my supposed vendetta against Josh. Within all rights Josh should have been banned yesterday. He SPAMs, he trolls, he flames...he has been walking a very thin line for a while

And I dont see how me stopping these pictures stops sarcasm and other forms of enjoyment. If you do think that then, and no offense intended, you truely are a moron

Okie, editing post since I apparently suck too much to be a faster poster than Jesusbii.

How does Josh troll and spam?! I can see a little spam with the pictures, yeah, but he does no worse than you do otherwise.

If the picture has nothing to do with the discussion, then it would be SPAM since it's off topic, but just posting a Picture without any text is just pure spam since the poster isn't describing it or it's not something to do with the discussion.

These Picture Only posts not only slow down my browser a bit since it has to download the images, but it takes a long time to scroll down the post sinces theres alot of picture only posts or off-topic pictures.

I'm not actually condoning posts consisting purely of pictures used with the intent to take the piss, but you must admit, warranting a ban is rather extreme. All I'm saying is, Josh has comedy value and you shouldn't fault or question his motives, because he genuinely hopes to fight in the name of harmony in a newfound democracy, but trying to change and improve the current system is frustration simply because he alone does not possess the power nor authority to make a true difference, hence the actions that you define as rule breaking. It's ridiculously coincidental that Josh occasionally posts images and then a new rule is enforced that condemns such behavior, and that my friend is painfully convenient.

Sorry, but as far as I'm concerned, it's a petty bullshit rule that is purely unnecessary.
