Regarding Rule breakers...

Golde

Always Searching~
Yeah, its me, old jug head. Well, I had this idea a few days ago, but thought against posting it because
A) I doubt its even possible
B) It's so simple I thought it might've been thought of
C) People`ll never figure out how to do it.

But, why not put the "Sign Up" Option at the bottom of the "Rules" Thread? Hmm?
Or make a link, when you click "Sign Up," It links you automatically to the rules?

Anyways, just looking out for the site I spend 15 hours a day on, not being sarcastic.

gee that's swell
I dunno, the problem is, a lot of people wouldn't read the rules, and would never think to look there to sign up.

Although it would really help (That is, if people read it, and not just skipped over), I don't think it would be too easy for newbies to figure out. (Well, maybe they could have a sign-thing that told newbies to go to the rules to sign up) Nah.

Trust me, I've thought of a whole bunch of ways to solve this crap. Joe won't listen. :\

"Break the rules, and this trained chimp will snap your neck, and make you his unwilling lover" being my idea. Too hard to train the chimps, and PETA is breathing down my neck.

Nope, but hiding the link in the middle of the rules and giving a fake link that redirects them to a page saying to read the rules would work wonders. 8D

Seriously, that'd probably be the only way to get people to read the rules in some manner. :s

It's usual that people refuse to read the rules. They also refuse to read the most important announcements. I mean, new avatar ones and those about the secret projects have high ratings and viewing numbers. Those that are actually important are forgotten and never seen. Except for the trick one by Fox, in which he titled it "90 New Avatars!" and there were none.

Yeah, you could have a little link to the rules that you have to hit before you can sign-up. But, you know, people could just skim over it, not even reading them.

You will always have rule-breakers, and there is nothing you can really do about it. Rules for each forum are stickied, and no one sees them...
