Regarding Trading

So... here's probably a really dumb question, but it is said that trading will be possible between D/P and R/S/FR/LG/Emerald. How? I'm looking at my SP and seeing no port for a link cable. Unless the power-adapter port doubles as a link cable port. Perhaps they will make you use the wireless adapter that came with FR/LG? >.> Pity, too, I bought my LG used. Maybe I'll get FR new. Anyway, thoughts?

I've tried using the Wireless adapter with my DS, but it never worked. I have no idea how they'll do it. Maybe a new Nintendo feature to buy, cause they always end up with something like that.


[EDIT] - How dumb could I get. You have the DS game (D/P) in the DS Game Slot, and the GBA game (R/S/E/FG/LG) in the other. That could possibly be the best solution. (Though it's not good for Nintendo, they'd want more consoles to be bought! )

I don't think you'll be able to trade in the respect of linking up with the GBA titles. Since, the wireless adapter and the DS's wi-fi are very different, and when starting a GBA game in the DS all DS features are shut off (2nd screen, touch sensetivity, X + Y buttons etc.).

I reckon you'll be able to access all Pokemon PC boxes via the GBA slot, though or something like that. And transfer them over or something.
