Agreed. If nintendo made expansion packs I would give up on pokemon.

But in all honesty I'd probably get it so I don't miss out

As much as I love 5th gen, Unova was a bit of a pathetic region in terms of exploration. All the routes were pretty bland and on bike you can get around the region within twenty minutes. The dual region of G/S is pretty good, but I find Kanto a bit too... normal? Normal's not the right word, but it's closer to reality than any other region. Sinnoh was good, but a little repetative. Now Hoenn had loads to explore, with a whole underwater section; very long. In my opinion, if you can get lost in a region like you can in Hoenn, then it's a good region.
