Registeel -_-

Okay so Im trying to catch Registeel right now, and hes being very unnegotiable right now. Ive got 40 ultraballs and greatballs. He Is just not staying in. Ive weakend it and ive paralyzed it. IT WONT STAY IN THE BALL. the most ive got was two "shakes" from a great ball. Does anyone know any better tactics in catching Registeel?​

Keep trying. The Regis are very hard to catch. I had the same problem. Don't give up!

Make him sleep and get a poke with False Swipe (Sceptile,for example).Get more Ultraballs and I suggest you get some Timer Balls.

I see. and does being asleep have a better chance of catching than being paralyzed? hmm I guess I could try that.

I just saw shiny registeel and tried to catch it but I ran out of ultra and great balls *sob*

Bring Timer balls, they work better, and your lucky for encountering the Registeel, you should have used the Master Ball, if you have it

I have a masterball but I wanted to use it on latios. Its okay though maybe Ill see it again, Because...I still havent caught it -_-

No.It doesn't get a better chance,but its sometimes easier for it to be asleep than to be paralyzed.Congrats for the shiny.

ok....regie pisss me off sooo freaking bad....specialy regirock they seriously dont stay in.......i suggest u use TIMER balls they work the best...i think they are even harder to catch than reQuaza .....

Like others have said, use the timer balls!

Yellow health with paralysis and a regular poke ball. I caught mine like that.

red health, throw GREAT ball, then hold down a and b. Try before paralyzing. Tell me if it works( :

Put it to Sleep. Putting a Pokémon to sleep is twice as effective as paralyzing it.
Also use Timer Balls. After 30 turns, Timer Balls are twice as strong as Ultra Balls.

The holding down A and B thing does not work. It's just a superstition, like thinking that a 4 leaf clover will bring you good luck.

I left to go catch regice and I caught it in one ultraball........ONE!!!!.......Heading back to try and attempt to catch registeel.

Oh and I stocked up on some timerballs =]

The Regis were a pain to catch. Esepcially, Registeel. It was the hardest one of all the Regis to catch.

Not really for me. I use the cut-and-run-type method: Throw the balls from the start.

Caught a Diaruga like that. It works.

Try to catch it like this.
Bring
30-50x Ultra Balls
Half of # of Ultra Balls you bringx Timer Balls
A Pokemon with a Sleep Move
A Pokemon that can reduce HP well enough to 1 or 2, just use False Swipe
Luck

This method has always worked for me.

Brimg:
A fast pokemon with a sleep move, like breeloom or noctowl.
A false swiper like sceptile.
A hazer like weezing.
30x ultra balls
20x timer balls
a master ball, just in case it's shiny.
patience
luck

Basically, take it down to 1 hp with false swipe, send it off to dreamland with your sleeper, start chucking ultra balls like mad.
If you finish your ultra balls start throwing timer balls.
If the pokemon stats up too much, just haze him in da face.

All you need is a lot of balls and patience.
It took me around 80-90 balls to get Registeel, I agree it's probably the hardest. Don't give up.
