Releasing Pokemon?

I just saw the third D/P episode where Shinji releases two Mukkuru. But how do you just release a pokemon in the show? When they came out they had a blue light around them instead of white.

I'm guessing by either saying, "Mukkuru, you're released!", or by pushing some type of button, or .. something. You can't really be too sure.

You rpobably just open up the poke ball as usual, say to your pokemon, "I don't want you anymore", shoo it away then throw the poke ball in the opposite direction.

It's a TV show, there doesn't have to be a rational explanation for every single thing that occurs...

There are many ways. Ash released butterfree and pidgeotto by just telling them to go. There is no one way to release them.

I think people are questioning what happens to the pokeball afterwards...

Well, if a trainer fails to capture a pokemon in the show, they get it back, or there's no sign of what happens to the ball. Guess it works that way with releasing the pokemon. Either the trainer keeps the ball to be used for capturing another Pokemon, or it vanishes entirely.

I think they just push the button on the pokeball twice to release the PKMN into the wild. Or they can simply call out their PKMN and just leave them wherever like Ash does.

People are talking about when you release it from a pokeball.

Since the ball beam is blue instead of red signifying the release.

What did shinji say when he released his pokemon, for anyone that can understand japanese?

I remember him saying something
