remoraid evolution

This website says remoraid evolves at lvl 22.... but mine did nuthin. wasn't holding everstone, and the evolution process didnt even begin, so i wasn't able 2 prevent it by pressing B.. anyone got an updated evolution lv/method that might've prevented evolution?

i believe the site also says koffing evolves at lv. 34, which he evolves at lv. 35. May be off topic, but just so you know if you were ever training a koffing
