Renegade Ranger (Rewritten) PG

FireTrainer92

The Point of Origin
Okay I rushed the first chapter because somebody had my Idea I'd been working on for 5 months so this edited version should be better. Kudos Chibi Pika for editing

Introduction:
Rangers protect, serve, and help people and pokémon alike. They use pokémon in their quest by capturing them using a device called a stylus. It’s like a spinning top that encircles the pokémon, communicating the ranger’s feelings to it. Once you get a pokémon, you can either use them to catch other pokémon or to clear obstacles, but once you use them, they must be released.

Rangers are unlike trainers who actually keep their pokémon, unless it is a partner. They don’t believe in actually taking pokémon from their natural habitat.

My name is Mickey. I was a trainer once then I became a ranger to further train my Typhlosion. After I learned that I could not capture pokémon and keep them because of taking pokémon from their habitat is wrong, I had to hide the fact that Typhlosion is my pokémon that I caught with a pokéball.

Unfortunately, a ranger from Ringtown, Fiore named Lunick found the pokéball in my room in a ranger base. Now I’m here in the Ranger leader of Ringtown, Spencer’s, office.

Chapter 1: How a card can change one’s life

“You know you can’t own pokémon. It’s out of its habitat,” Spenser stated firmly.

Feeling myself grow even more defensive, I protested, “I’ve had this pokémon since I was eleven!”

“So you’ll have to release it!” he reinforced

“NO!” I was outraged at the prospect of giving up my first pokémon.

“Then you’re fired!”

“WHAT!” I shouted. But it was too late. Spenser left the room and there was nothing more I could say.

I stormed around the outskirts of Fall City, muttering to myself. “I can’t believe this. First my stylus breaks, then I get fired. Lunick always messes things up. What am I to do now? I still have this stupid Ringtown Ranger uniform on. Maybe I’ll rent me a hotel in Summerland. Whatever it is, I’ll figure it out. I do need to fix my hair to look at Jin from that fighting game, and this headband is cutting off my circulation.”

“Mickey is that you?” a voice says behind me.

I turned around suddenly, surprised at who I saw. “Kindra, how have you been?”

“Fine?” says the five feet 14 year old. She always wears a blue skirt and a white jacket with a blue tank top. Her hair was brown and always in a ponytail.

We talked about all of the good times we had on our journeys together and how she was about to vacation here in Fiore. I told her that I was fired from being a ranger. She was surprised as much as I was when Spencer told me that I was fired. We waved good-bye to each other and I departed to Summerland…

“Room E11 and here is your card key.” the hotel receptionist said to me.

I took the card and went up into my room, gazing out the window when I got there. Summerland was a tropical paradise. Trees, beaches, the goods... I was going to call room service until I saw some shady characters walking around the hotel. It was the Go-Rock Squad, a band of wannabe rangers who used super styluses to capture pokémon. They were always wearing red black and white jumpsuits with a yellow wig on.

Wondering what they were up to, I grabbed Typhlosion’s pokéball and headed out of the hotel.

“Okay, the ranger with the Typhlosion is in this hotel!” one of the Go-Rock members said.

“What does he look like?” the other member asked, fixing his wig.

“He has the Ringtown uniform on,” the member replies.

I overheard them talking about me. They’re not exactly what you’d call smart. I readied my pokéball, thinking to myself that they had probably never seen a pokémon battle before.

Suddenly, they spotted me. One of the members ordered, “It’s him—use the super stylus!”

“Okay, shut your yap!” the other member answered, launching the super stylus towards me. The stylus started to make a blue ring around my Typhlosion. If the ring got too tight, they could take my Typhlosion from me!

“They must not know… Typhlosion go and use flame wheel!” I yelled as the volcano pokémon was released.

“Typhlo!” Typhlosion yelled, turning into a fiery missile while charging towards the stylus.

The stylus broke easily from the rushing flames. The men were shocked to find a pokémon so strong! I of course, knew they were no threat, but why did they want Typhlosion or even me? The other member showed me a Poliwrath that seemed to be controlled by the stylus. A water pokémon teamed with a stylus meant trouble for Typhlosion. The Poliwrath spouted some pretty bubbles but not the ones you would want to be in. Suddenly, one of the bubbles trapped my Typhlosion. Now the stylus spun into rings around my Typhlosion.

“Typhlosion, use a thunderpunch on Poliwrath then break the stylus with a flame wheel!” I yelled, feeling the exhilaration from the battle. Typhlosion charged up his electrified fist. The sparks broke the bubble and Typhlosion punched the spiral center of the tadpole pokémon. Then Typhlosion turned into a flaming missile and charged into the stylus. “This is too easy,” I muttered.

“Hmm your skill might be useful to our cause,” a man said. He was in a Black Wintown Ranger outfit and standing next to the hotel.

“Who the heck are you?” I demanded, recalling my Typhlosion into its red and white sphere.

“I’m what you call a renegade ranger,” he replied.

“What do you want?” I ask, still apprehensive.

“I want you to join us. See, we renegade rangers used to be rangers. We mostly got fired or quit,” the man explained. “The name is Neil.”

“Why do you dress in black, and still wearing your old uniform?” I asked. I really needed to stop asking him questions.

“All of your questions can be answered if you join us. Here’s a card,” Neil said, giving me a black card with the picture of a Lucario. The man walked toward a blue dinosaur looking pokémon with a shell on its back. He boarded the Lapras and rode off on the ocean.

I returned to the hotel and pondered on the decision. The fact that I could get my revenge was great. Moreover, I would be protecting pokémon. Finally, I decided to go. I spray-painted my Ringtown uniform black to look the part. I called Kindra telling her about what I’m doing. She didn’t seem to like the idea but she was glad I was doing something.

The next day I woke up and ate my morning breakfast. I gathered my pokéballs and grabbed the card. I read the card’s directions and headed to Sekra Range.

I made it to Wintown, the northernmost city in Fiore. This place was colder than most others but I could deal. As I headed down the path that led to the Sekra Range, I saw a wanted poster of Neil. I could see his dark but calm eyes. He had a black long perm. I ignored the picture and headed further out of the city limits.

“Welcome to our secret base!” Neil said upon my arrival. “This is where you will be briefed and debriefed on your missions.”

“Hi, umm…where do I sign up?” I asked.

“Here. How old are you?” he asked me while booting up his computer.

“16.” I said, waiting to get my official ID.

“Mickey Brown, age 16, Rank 5,” the computer said, processing the ID.

“Why rank 5 so early?” I asked while receiving my ID.

“You are more experienced than most of the renegade rangers. Now let me show you around,” Neil said, starting to showing me around the base.

“You never answered my question of why do we wear black,” I told Neil.

“It’s just to show that we’re outcasts,” he answered, still showing me the base. I never did like the word outcast.

The base wasn’t large. In fact, it looked a lot like the other ranger bases. Everyone was wearing black ranger uniform, mostly of the Fall City design.

“You’ll be going on your first mission now. You’ll investigate The Go-Rock squad in the Olive jungle,” Neil briefed me. “You’ll have a partner to accompany you.” I liked the fact that I wouldn’t be alone.

“Okay!” I said excited for my first mission.

“Hi, I’m Donny I’ll be your partner,” a boy who looked around 15 wearing a black Ringtown ranger uniform with a black headband and has a red ponytail said. “So you’re the ranger. Well, let’s go.”

Donny and I walked out of the base. We talked about how we got to be in the renegade rangers. He was fired from being a ranger for catching pokémon permanently. His pokémon, Donphan, was at Fiore Temple and had followed him after the Gordor incident so he caught it. Spencer saw him and fired him on the spot.

“Well, we’re here!” I said pointing at the entrance. It was raining hard—typical in Olive Jungle. I was glad that my hotel was just a few miles away because as soon as I was done I could go straight to sleep. As we entered the deepest part of the lush green jungle with pokémon and exotic plants, I spotted a Grovyle family being tortured by the Go-Rock squad. We hid in the bushes and tried to think of a plan.

“I’ll get Grovyle; you just save the rest of the family,” I instructed quietly.

“Hello!” I said, punching the first goon I could see. Afterward, I kneed him in the stomach to knock him out. As a renegade, I can do that. His little friend came from behind and I just elbowed him in the nose. I turned around and grabbed Grovyle before the other Go-Rocks noticed. I put the green gecko pokémon somewhere safe before running back and bringing out Typhlosion.

“Ty!” Typhlosion screamed. I nodded my head and he went on to help Donny. All of a sudden, a blue streak came across my face. When I looked down, I saw a Stylus. Next I heard a familiar voice.

“So, Mickey long time no see.” a voice says up in the trees. It was a boy with a Ringtown ranger outfit with a red headband with blue shaggy hair. “Who would have thought that Mickey would be the enemy?”

“Lunick. Give me one good reason why I shouldn’t kick your ***!” I spat. I usually don’t swear but this guy gets me mad.

“Why do I have to be the enemy? Just because—” I started before he cut me off.

“Give me the Grovyle and nobody gets hurt,” he said while his Minun came for the rear. I looked back at the battle between Donny and Go-Rock Squad. Donny released his Donphan.

“Typhlosion, come here we have a score to settle,” I told Typhlosion, and he immediately came to me. “I know you do not know how to battle, but try to capture my Typhlosion,” I challenged

“Okay!” Lunick said, getting his stylus and putting it in the launcher. “Minun, let’s go!” he exclaimed while the blue, rabbit-looking pokémon stands by his side.

He launches his stylus and it starts to circle Typhlosion but it’s not enough. It breaks the line. Typhlosion tries to shoot a flamethrower at the stylus but it moved just a little bit too fast.

“Typhlosion wait until it starts to feel tight then use flame wheel!” I tell my fire pokémon. It started to make rings around Typhlosion. While this was going on, I looked a Minun that whole time until…

“Minun discharge NOW!” Lunick said while clenching his fist and giving a slight grin. Typhlosion was shocked at full power that left him paralyzed. Typhlosion could have been caught just then if it weren’t for a little green surprise.

“Grovyle!” the little green gecko cried. Grovyle had used a leaf blade, cutting the stylus line and knocking Minun out. It had a favor it had to return. I returned the volcano pokémon, deciding to let Grovyle finish the bout. Grovyle was quick, but Lunick’s stylus was quick too. All of a sudden, his stylus got a speed boost, ensnaring Grovyle in a tight bind. Now I couldn’t think of anything to do but wait.

“Grooooo!” the gecko yelled. The leaves on its arm began to grow thanks to its special ability, overgrow. Lunick’s stylus had broken, creating a mini explosion. In shock, he exited the jungle saying words that would stick to me for probably a long time.

“Mickey, a ranger’s values makes him strong. Knowing what you fight for and why is almost important as fighting itself,” Lunick said, walking away. “I don’t know why I told you that but hopefully it’ll help you.” I didn’t understand it. Somehow, I knew that it would help in my days as a renegade. I turn around and see the Grovyle at my feet. I guess it wanted to stay with me to repay its debt. I threw the pokéball at it. It sealed itself as soon as I threw the ball. I felt overjoyed. My eyes brightened as went to go find my partner.

“Mickey, they’re gone!” Donny said from behind. “They left after Donphan and I broke their styluses.”

“Let’s go back to base and debrief.” I said heroically. “No, I’ll go to my hotel and you’ll debrief us,” I corrected while slightly laughing. I started to walk back to my Summerland Hotel

“Did you capture the Venusaur?” a man with grey hair a purple suit and white beady eyes said.

“Yes Sir Rock!” a grunt said in the shadows of an office.

Upon hearing this news, the man laughed maniacally.

I undressed and took a long shower, getting all of the dirt and grime off my body from the mission I did earlier. I checked my pokégear for any messages to find one from Kindra. It said that she was in Fall City checking out some factory. I assumed she was talking about Dusk Factory. She also said that she had seen some mysterious figures there. I sent her a message back, saying meet me there tomorrow at 12:00. I also sent a message to Neil saying that I would be investigating Dusk factory. I decided to watch a pokémon reality show, but I nodded off.

I yawned, waking up ready and alert. I put on my uniform and headed out the door. It was 11:00am. I took the ferry to Fall City. When I arrived, a festival had started. I had to keep cover because renegade rangers were wanted here. I don’t know why we were wanted in Wintown and Fall City. I walked to Dusk Factory quietly, trying not to catch any attention. By then it was 11:59. Kindra was supposed to be here. I waited thirty more minutes before going inside the since dismantled factory.

The factory was surprisingly lit and functional. It had scientists, machines, henchmen, you name it, even though it looked run down from the outside. I started to snoop around the factory, trying not to be caught or it would be a one-way ticket to graveville. There weren’t many cameras in there, so I had a chance to snoop and get out. There were many pokémon in cages. Mostly fire, water, grass types. If it were up to me, I would at least put some psychics or something in there.

“Mickey, Mickey over here!” I heard someone say to me.

“Kindra, what are you doing in here?” I asked her.

“I was checking out the area until some of the scientists saw me,” Kindra explained to me. “They locked me up and put me in this cage.”

“Well let me get you out of here,” I said quietly, reaching for Grovyle’s pokéball.

“Here they come!” Kindra warned me. I quickly found a corner to hide in so nobody would see me. I waited there for a couple of minutes. I got back up and grabbed Grovyle’s pokeball once again. Next thing I knew, I felt a sharp pain in my neck. The room got fuzzy and I started to feel faint. I was out like a light.

Now ain't this better. Chapter 2 should be up by late april early may. I think I'll have a banner later. Once again thanks Chibi Pika

Rewrite is where? Oh. I see. Small edits, and they either slightly improve the fic, or make it worse overall. Seeing as, by large you did not rewrite/improve my old reply for the original still stands.

.. First: Lol

Your prologue is simply lol. Your fic is lol.

They are unlike trainers who actually keep their pokemon. They don’t believe in actually taking pokemon from their Habitat.

EEEEEH. Wrong. Top rangers can take pokemon out of their habitat, because they are, and can be trusted, to have the will and the power to make the emotional bond that's needed to keep the pokemon calm in towns, and help them get back to their home habitat. They also have a partner pokemon, that can be taken anywhere. Partners are usually helpfull pokemon, such as Spenser's Fearow, or the Dragonite bus Rangers' Dragonite.

Played the game have you not D:

/Yoda.

“You know you can’t own pokemon. It’s out of its habitat.”

“I’ve had this pokemon since I was eleven!”

“So you’ll have to release it!”

“NO!”

“Then you’re fired!”

“WHAT!”

Spenser is not like that. Spenser would muse and mull over this, he would ponder it for a good long while, and realise, he has a good ranger, that has spent time and etc and only did one mess up by owning one pokemon, when it is no different than having a partner pokemon.

Then Spenser would probably go over the fact a trainer he trusted and thought was so truthfull, had lied and decived him.

So yes, your breif, and poor characterisation of Spenser, is very, very poor indeed.

I'm sorry but it's like watching a train wreck, your character is a blatant gary stu, Renegade Rangers? If they were fired or quit, their stylus's would have been taken away, or they would have been found and busted by the Rangers, as I don't think you fully understand the concept behind, Pokemon Ranger, and if you played the game I shouldn't have to spell it out for you. You've gone and made it seem like your character is a poor, misunderstood character when he's not, he's shallow, and the pokemon in this fic are pokebots. Then it's also rushed, the description is also poor, as poor as this fic is rushed, and well, overall.

You should go back to the drawing board and play Ranger some more, before attempting to make another fic about it.

The Point of Origin
Chapter 2:
Renaissance Toni

“Where am I?” I asked dazed and confused. I find myself in a cage. The only thing I can remember is seeing a guy in a purple suit when I turned around before I fainted. “Now what am I going to do?” I whispered to myself.

“You can help me get out of here!” Kindra said behind me.

“What can I do? They took my pokeballs!” I said touching my belt.

“You are all ways getting us caught! You remember the time Team Rocket took over radio tower two years ago?” Kindra yelled.

“Yeah so what?” I said remembering the incident.

“You got us caught and that pokemon trainer with the Typhlosion had to help us!” Kindra screamed.

“Well, you two make a cute couple.” A woman said out in the distance. She was wearing a black Wintown out fit with a yellow ponytail.

“Who are you?” Kindra asked the woman who came from the shadows.

“I’m Toni, Neil sent me to rescue you!” She said giving me my pokeballs. “Neil had put a tracking device in your I.D.”

“I was wondering how you knew to rescue Mickey.” Kindra said getting out of the cage. I tell her to get out so I could do a little exploring. Toni disappeared in a cloud of smoke. I sneaked around but did not see anything that I did not already know. I did see a Venusaur being poked by needles. My spine shivered like I was being struck by a Ice Beam. I hate needles. Then all of a sudden, a Solarbeam almost grazed me. If needles were sticking me, I would be shooting Solarbeams too. I ran out of the building while at the same time my poke’gear rang.

“Mickey, we have a Blaziken family being captured by Team Go-Rock!” Donny said with extreme urgency.

“Okay, okay just pick me up via Flygon Bus!” I commanded Donny. I was glad that we had some type of transportation or I would be exiled from Fiore. Twenty minutes later Donny comes and picks me up.

“Just to let you know Toni is on East Road where the Blaziken family is located so we have some help not like we need any.” Donny said while laughing. I laughed too and I thought to myself. I like this job. I felt like a Feebas, I could never be captured by anyone. Unless the people change the phrase in Dewford town. Hold on that’s on a game! Let’s get back to the story.

“Let’s drop off right here so we can plan our next move.” I said while Flygon landed behind in a forest with cliffs.

“Well long time no see!” Toni said walking from I don’t know where. “One Blaziken had ran from the seen but the others are safe.”

“So in other words you completed the mission?” Donny asked looking at the surroundings. “Well you can go debrief to Neil.”

“I don’t know about that.” A 15 something girl with a Ringtown uniform with a blue ponytail with two bangs in the front said with a Plusle by her. I knew who it was. It was Solana, Lunick’s partner. “I’m turning you renegades in to the Ranger Union!”

“You always wanted to be the angel.” Toni commented. “You had a caught a Pidgeot but released it after almost getting in trouble with Spencer.” Solana launched at Toni with her fist clenched but Toni dodged at the last minute. Then Toni kicked her in the stomach. Solana grasped her stomach as if she was in extreme pain. This didn’t last long. Solana then did an uppercut that could have a broken anyone’s neck. Toni then pulled out a pokeball.

“Use Steel Wing.” Toni screamed while launching the pokeball. A razor blade looking bird started to fly towards Solana. Plusle jumped in front of the bird pokemon and let out a burst of electricity.

“SKAR!” The bird pokemon screamed in agony. I cringed once I heard the scream. Donny closed his eyes.

“You see Pokemon Rangers are stronger!” Solana yelled pulling out the stylus. The stylus started to ensnare Skarmory. I had to interfere. I gripped Grovyle’s pokeball tightly. I made a split decision and threw the pokeball.

“Hit the line Leaf Blade then slash Plusle with a Fury Cutter.” I commanded my wood gecko pokemon. It dashes off in a blur and breaks the line. Then Grovyle switches targets and hits Plusle.

“Groo!” Grovyle screamed its battle cry. Solana didn’t know what to do. Plusle was sent flying, hitting a giant tree.

“Stop!” a voice boomed. “Stop the battle!” A man yelled with aqua green hair and a Ringtown Ranger outfit on. Spencer. I never thought I would see the person who kicked me out of the Ranger Union again. With his Fearow right behind him he began to speak.

“Don’t waste your time with these fools. They were fired for a reason. You shouldn’t encourage they’re barbaric ways.” Spencer said with extreme hate.

“Barbaric, What do you mean barbaric.” Donny questioned. I would have asked the same question but I was in awe.

“Pokemon battling is barbaric. I for one ban this terrible action.” Spencer responded and then added. “I will not stand for this action. I WILL NOT!”

“So you’re saying that pokemon battling is barbaric because?” I ask my former boss. I was shocked. Pokemon battling barbaric didn’t make any sense to me.

“Because pokemon were made just live with humans, not to battle together.” Spencer said.

“You think you know everything don’t you Spencer?” I saw Neil say on a cliff near by. “This is why I quit...”

“I think you mean this is why I was fired.” Spencer interrupts.

“You love to patronize me. I hated the Union. To many rules I couldn’t battle I couldn’t do anything that dealt with my Lucario training.” Neil said in the same hateful manner as Spencer. “I wanted to train with my pokemon together. You might just like to be there friends but they’re my life long partners.”

“That doesn’t make any sense to me. They are just here just to be here.” Spencer said angrily.

“So they’re just tools to be used to help people out with problems they can do themselves?” I asked trying to make sense of what Spencer was saying.

“Let’s go Solana.” Spencer commanded. “We’ll deal with you later.” Toni was just returning Skarmory to its pokeball while rubbing her neck. I on the other hand was returning Grovyle. I was told to come back to base.

Elsewhere in Fall City….

“ALL RANGERS PLEASE REPORT TO THE MAIN HALL” An intercom reported. Lunick grabbed his stylus and headed out of the healing room for partner pokemon. Lunick had a lot on his mind. He was beaten by Mickey yesterday and his stylus broke. He wonders want Spencer wants. He eagerly goes in the auditorium to hear the announcement.

“I bet you’re wondering why I brought you here.” Spencer said strongly. “We have had some problem with the renegades. They seem to be causing trouble. I say that we fight back against the traitors.” Crowds of “hoots!” filled the building. “Two Rangers were attacked by renegades. Lunick and Solana, whose partner pokemon are in intensive care, were attacked by this renegade Mickey.” A giant picture of Mickey shows on the mission screen. “He was misled by Neil, a former Ranger. Mickey is not the person you would want to attack if you see him on a mission. Neil is your target. We must wage war to get rid of the filth we call Renegade Rangers.” More crowds of “hoots!” filled the building. Lunick couldn’t believe what he just heard. War. War was almost non-existent in the six regions. There was the war between Team Aqua and Team Magma but other than that, few people had ever thought about war. All of a sudden, Lunick came up with a brilliant idea.

Meanwhile…

“Okay Renegades!” Neil said loudly. “As you know some Rangers were attacked by some Union Rangers. I know why we were attacked. They think that pokemon battling is barbaric. A whole bunch of “BOOS!” filled the auditorium. I didn’t say a word. I didn’t want to end up like past Rangers. Donny told me that if a Union Ranger attacked you, you shouldn’t say a word about it because if you did co-Leaders would put you in missions such as spy on the “whatever town” base just to get beaten again. He never did tell me why. Neil began to speak again. “I was shocked when I heard Spencer said that pokemon battling is barbaric. That’s why I say that we should show them what a real battle is.” The Renegades cheered when they heard those words. “War is needed to get rid of these pests. WE MUST TAKE DOWN THE UNION!” Renegades rejoiced again.

It was declared. Wartime. Renegades vs. The Union. I couldn’t believe what my eyes had seen and my ears had heard. I didn’t know I was joining the Renegades to go to war a day later. I should have just gone to Sinnoh. This was not good. Not good at all.

“Mickey, I’m putting you as executive for all missions including Team Go-Rock.” Neil informed me while I am still in shock after what just happened. “From what you told me it’s something big being planned.”

“GREAT, I mean, dang I wanted to get in some of the action.” I said with sarcasm. “So do I get a new partner or what?”

“Yeah, I was thinking of putting Donny as front line infantry.” Neil responded. “I was also considering about placing Toni as your partner.” I was a little excited at first but I still couldn’t shake the fact there was about to be a war. I went into the break room to get me a cup of coffee. This was going to be a long night.

“Is it necessary, I mean do we have to, it doesn’t seem right to have a war?” Toni went on whining.

“It’s okay.” I said with care while holding her in my arms. She went on. My shirt was getting drenched with tears.

“Why aren’t you depressed?” Toni asked me while whipping her face.

“Because really I don’t know why Toni.” I responded. “There does really seem to be a reason to fight.”

“It was just someone’s opinion right?” She asked me. I didn’t answer which made her cry event more. I shook my head and told her to take a seat and calm down. I sat down and pondered on what she had said. Opinion. That didn’t make sense at all. After this day, I didn’t think anything would make sense to me.

“Man, a war in Fiore region.” I overheard someone say. “I’d never thought I’d hear the day when that would happen.” I thought the same thing.

“Gross!” I said spiting out my coffee. I forgot the sugar. “What an idiot.” I said to myself. “RING!”

I answer the poke’gear to hear an unwelcome voice.

“Mickey, it’s me Lunick.” Lunick whispered. “Meet me in Fall City sewers. At 10:00AM” What does he want? My so-called enemy told me to meet him in the sewers. I would have thought a forest but hey what the heck.

“Toni, I’m going somewhere tomorrow morning.” I informed her. “Call me if we have a mission.”

“Sniff, Okay.” Toni says whipping her nose. I headed out of the Ranger Base but Donny caught me.

“Mickey, tomorrow would you mind if we had a pokemon battle.” Donny asked me.

“Sure, but I might get here a little late.” I answered.

Elsewhere….

“You know he won’t come.” Solana told Lunick while watching Plusle in a respirator.

“You just worry about getting your stylus fixed and making sure Plusle is okay.” Lunick responded in a deep, manly, monotone voice.

“So you’re big and bad just because you caught Suicune, Entei, and Raikou.” Solana said angrily.

“No, I don’t want you to get hurt.” Lunick said with extreme sincerity. You can’t defend yourself.”

“Hmph, you must like me or something.” Solana uttered under her breath.

“Huh?” Lunick said.

“Oh nothing.” Solana said still watching her Plusle.

“Well I’m going to the capture arena to work on my skills want to come.” Lunick asked Solana.

“Nah, I’d rather stay here with Plusle.” Solana sleepily said.

Outside the Renegade Ranger Base….

I took the Flygon Bus back to my hotel in Summerland. I quickly went into my room and took a shower. After I took the shower, I decided to call Kindra.

“Hey Kindra!” I greeted my best friend.

“What are you so happy about?” She asked me. “Aren’t you going to war later? I saw it on the T.V.”

“How would you know?” I queried.

“The Ranger Union is going to war with you as one of the main targets.” Kindra informed me.

“They want my head.” I said to myself. That’s probably why Lunick wanted me to go to the sewers. “Well I’m still investigating Go-Rock squad so I’m not going to be fighting.”

“Oh good.” Kindra said with relief. “Can I go with you on your next mission?”

“Sure you might be of some help.” I responded.

“Okay bye.” She said while hanging up. Today was not a very good day. I lay in bed wondering what lay ahead. I place Grovyle and Typhlosion’s pokeballs on the nightstand. I couldn’t stop thinking about the call. Did Lunick wanted to take me in or did he have a sincere reason to invite me. I looked at the TV. Kindra was right. The Union was declaring war. They showed Union Rangers talking about how the war would clean up the scum called the Renegades. I turned off the T.V. and started to nod off. The word war would haunt me all night.

Somewhere in Sekra Range…

A man walked into a tube. He pulled off his purple suit. He is dressed in only his underwear. Then with a deep, pounding, voice commanded his underling to flip a switch. The tube was filled with violet dark gas. Gordor then breathes deeply before the gas even grazes his aged face. After forty minutes inhaling gas, Gordor open the tube with his hardened body. His underling hands him his clothes and a towel. Gordor thanked him.

“Sir Rock, we have some interesting news from our mole in the renegades.” Joel informed his boss while taking his lab coat off showing his beret, black tank top, GR belt, black bell-bottom capris, and black puma shoes.

“You mean the top executive Nod?” Gordor asked.

“Yes, he says that there is going to be a war against the two sides.” Joel responded with his tough boy accent putting pokeballs on his belt.

“This is great. They’ve been on our asses these last couple of days.” Gordor said with a grin.

“I’ll continue my “training” with Giovanni so we discuss a future plan.” Joel told Gordor fixing his beret.

“Make an announcement to dusk factory that they need to hurry up the production of the serum.” Gordor commanded.

“That gas was to make your immune system not attack the serum wasn’t it?” Joel asked his boss.

“Yes, but it also allows the complete control over the transformation so I can completely control it without any interference from the personalities.” Gordor added starting to chuckle manically. “Now they’ll have to join me just in case your “persuasions” don’t work.” Then again, while his commander in chief Joel walks out of the lab, Gordor chuckles loudly.

Joel walks out of the lab and enters a dark lit room. He grabbed his pokeball and released a grayish- green pokemon. The pokemon had a rocky look and a long tail. The last feature was a blue spot on the stomach.

“ROAAARR!” Tyranitar screamed.

“So Giovanni have you considered our demands?” Joel asked Giovanni with one of his hands on his hips.

“My Mewtwo versus your puny Tyranitar.” Giovanni said grinning and laughing. “Mewtwo could wipe out Tyranitar in a millisecond.”

“If you’re so sure then let’s go!” Joel yelled turning on a light showing a gymnasium type setting. Joel fixed his beret and turned to Tyranitar. “Destroy him.”

The Point of Origin
Chapter 3
Third Pokemon’s the Charm

“BOOM, BOOM, BOOM, BOOM, BOOM.” I heard while jerking up. I looked at the nightstand. 3:00 am. I get out of bed and put on my Ranger outfit just in case it was Toni. I look out the peephole in the door.

“Damn its Cameron!” I cursed. Cameron was one of four leaders of the ranger union

“If there are any Renegades in the room please turn yourself in.” I heard some Summerland ranger say. I had two choices. One was the obvious turn my butt in. The second was to gather all my things and jump out the window. I didn’t want to chose one because I wanted to continue being a Ranger and I could never come back to Fiore if I wanted to. In addition, if I chose door number two there’s a slight chance I may well, die. “If you don’t come out by the count of ten we’re breaking in, one.”

“I guess door number two is the correct one.” I said to myself. They continued to countdown. I got the little clothes I had and put them in my bookbag. I also got my pokemon and extra pokeballs and put them on my belt. They neared ten. I readied myself. I was not prepared to do anything rash.

“Nine!” I heard the same random Summerland Ranger say again. I shook my head and ran. “Ten!” I covered my face and jumped. I opened my eyes to see the vast, navy Safra Sea. Pieces of glass surrounded me. The full moon shined with its famous white glow. Newton’s law of Gravity kept getting in my head. I was falling rapidly. I knew there would be some pieces of glass on the surface of the sea so the best approach was to just cover myself. The surface came closer. I said a quick prayer in my head and held my breath. I hit the water perfectly with minor cuts. I started to swim towards the surface but something came charging towards me. Sharpedo. I couldn’t swim fast enough. My eyes widened and I spat blood out of my mouth. I was hit with one of Sharpedo’s Skull Bash attacks. The blood started to attract more Sharpedo. I was surely done for. The wind was knocked out of me so it will only be a few seconds before I ran out of breath. In addition, the Sharpedo would devour me any second now so the little time I had would not have mattered. All of a sudden, I hear a nice calm cry. I started to blackout from lack of air. The last figure I see is a four-legged sea dog looking at me. Then I faint.

In Go-Rock Headquarters…

“I’ve failed Sir Rock.” Joel told his boss with utter disappointment.

“I will your excuse your failure because Mewtwo was an experimental pokemon made from the infamous Team Rocket.” Gordor responded with forgiveness.

“I did manage to get more information from Nod.” Joel commented. “He said that Neil will be so preoccupied today strategizing that we might be able to grab some more water pokemon.”

“Ah, Yes but we still have to be alert. Neil is smarter than you think being an ex-galactic member and all.” Gordor added.

“What do you mean?” Joel asked fixing his beret.

“He might have some renegades on a special force.” Gordor answered. “Also Spencer’s rats could be doing the exact same thing.”

“Our mole in the Union, Phrum, said that Lunick and Solana are investigating us.” Joel responded to the answer. “Nod said the exact same thing. I’m about to go send a team including me to the Safra sea challenge to steal some water type pokemon.”

“Joel, one more thing. The next time you fail, you will perish under my power.” Gordor commanded his lackey.

“Understood.” Joel said exiting his boss’ office. “He’ll get his one day. His blood will be on Metagross’ claw once his silly little plan works. Hmph. Phrum or Nod needs to get the Thyphlosion so I can overthrow “Sir Rock” Haa.”

In a hut near Summerland…

I woke in a tropical hut. My shirt and jacket were off. I jerked up and grasped my stomach. I lie down wondering why my stomach was in so much pain. Last night must have really happened. My encounter with the Sharpedo was real. I was surprised that I didn’t die from lack of air. All I could think of was how lucky I was to be alive. I got up slowly stomach still hurting. I had bandages on my stomach.

“Now Mickey, you know better to go swimming that late at night.” An old woman said in a rocking chair.

“Who are you?” I asked still grasping my stomach. “And how do you now my name.”

“I’m just an old woman.” She answered. She had the hair of George Washington but the look of a normal granny. “I saw you on T.V.”

“I guess that’s your Vaporeon right?” I asked checking the time. 7:00 AM. Vaporeon began to cuddle me.

“No it’s my brothers.” The woman responded. “It’s yours. That’s the only reason it saved your life.”

“If it’s my “mine” then why do you have it?” I asked trying to make sense of the situation.

“You big dummy how would you not KNOW WHO YOUR SISTER IS?!” She revealed.

“Erika, I must be kind of stupid from uhhh you know the attack from the uhhh Sharpedo. “ I said making excuses.

She took her off costume revealing her yellow and red kimono her black curled hair. We talked for about an hour about the family and why she was here. She said that Celadon city was getting too boring and wanted to surprise me. We talk about my battle for the Rainbow Badge. Then the war pops up. Something I did not think about for hours.

“Wait until I tell mom what you go into!” She taunted. “A war and you’re with the enemy.”

“The “good guys” fired me because this snitch named Lunick told Spencer about Typhlosion.” I told my sister.

“Lance told me about how strict they’ve gotten about trainers.” Erika responded. “It all started when Red, Kanto’s Pokemon League Champion, came here.”

“Oh I’ve heard about that.” I said petting my old Vaporeon. “Red’s Pikachu had attacked Spencer because Spencer tried to catch Pikachu or something like that.”

“Ah, No.” Erika corrected. “See, Red challenged Spencer to a pokemon battle, before it was illegal, anyways Red beat Spencer’s Fearow so bad that it could not fly for weeks. From then on he stared to loathe trainers and everything they stood for.”

“Didn’t he know better to fight a champion?” I asked my younger sister.

“He was a champion too.” Erika answered giving me my pokeballs including Vaporeon’s. “You need to find a way to convince him to accept trainers.”

“So the war can stop before it is started.” I interrupted.

“Right baby bro.” Erika congratulated. “Hey the leaders of the six regions are meeting up a day from now. It’s called the pokemon summit. You try to convince him to end the war there then you won’t be wanted anymore.”

“Okay sis I’m out of here.” I said putting on my shirt and jacket. She waves goodbye as I run out the door. My stomach hurts but I have a new purpose, to stop the war. Then Lunick’s words popped in my head. Knowing what you fight for and why is almost important as fighting itself. I knew what I was fighting for. The Pokemon. If the war continued, countless pokemon would be injured or dead. The thing that Spencer hated is the exact thing that he is doing. I called Flygon to pick me up and returned an old friend of mine to its pokeball. While flying, I called Lance AKA the Dragon trainer. Lance and I were best friend ever since I started my journey (6 years ago while he was 21). He gave me advice when I needed to beat Clair, his cousin. I call him every time I needed something. This time it was dire.

“Hello, Mickey what’s up.” Lance greeted.

“Lance I need to tell you something urgent.” I said quickly.

“Well, what is it?” Lance asked. In about 4 minutes, I explained everything.

“I’m thinking I could convince him at the Pokemon Summit.” I told Lance.

“Hmm, you make a good point.” He responded. “I could enter you near the end of the meeting as the speaker of the war. Well goodbye until then.” I hung up the poke‘gear and look at the time. 9:45AM. I nudged Flygon towards Fall City. Within 12 minutes, I was there. I quietly sneaked to the sewers. As I entered the damp sewer, I started to smell something that smelled like boiled eggs and urine. I started think if Lunick could have picked a better place.

“I started to think you wouldn’t show.” I heard a voice say behind me. Lunick.

“I wanted to know what you wanted.” I responded. “So what do you want?”

“Okay first of all this is not the place to settle our differences.” Lunick said with a serious look on his face. “I’m here to discuss a plan to stop the war.”

“I’ve already came up with a plan.” I told him while trying to find his Minun.

“What “plan” have you possibly came up with?” Lunick asked.

“I have an invitation to attend the Pokemon Summit a day from now.” I said with a cocky tone in my voice.

“Continue.” Lunick said seeming intrigued.

“Lance, head of Kanto, will let me speak on the subject of the war in order to convince Spencer to end the war.” I explained.

“What about the Renegades?” Lunick asked. “I mean they would take over wouldn’t they?”

I do not know what to do about them. Then a brilliant idea sparked.

“I guess I must resign.” I stated as the idea began to become better in my head. “No, I will battle him to take over the position to only disband them later. You try to take Spencer’s….”

“Please.” Lunick interrupted. “That’ll never work! In the Ranger guide book…”

“You know what forget the rules.” I interrupted back.

“Your renegade colors are showing.” Lunick taunted.

“I’m leaving.” I said about to leave the sewers. “I don’t know why I came to this damn place anyway.”

“Wait, Mickey. What if your plan doesn’t work?” Lunick said.

“I guess we’ll have to meet here again.” I told Lunick trying to add some light to the situation. “You’ll have to think up that part.”

“Understood.” Lunick said leaving the sewers. “If Go-Rock comes up call me.”

“Ah, I forgot about those fools.” I said to myself. “I’ll call you when I investigate Go-Rock on my next mission.” Lunick left as soon as the conversation ended. “What to do next? Oh yeah, the battle with Donny.” Flygon was still outside so I boarded the mystic pokemon and flew to base.

At Renegade base…

Toni was healing her Skarmory. All she thought about is Mickey. She was embarrassed to cry in front of Mickey, the only person she has ever actually liked while being a renegade. She hopes to be his girlfriend one day but she thinks his friend might get to him first. She had talked with Donny about it but he seemed to care less. What was he doing? Always off some where on the phone talking. She decided to investigate.

“Joel, Mickey has called me.” Toni saw Donny say on the phone. “Well, he’s coming to battle me. Hopefully with Thyphlosion. Huh. Okay. Yeah, yeah blood on Metagross’ claw.”

“Hey Donny, what was that all about?” Toni asked. “And blood on Metagross’ claw?”

“It was a call to my friend Joel.” Donny answered. “And the claw thing uhhh is his catchphrase. I’m just playing it’s just his way to say goodbye.” Toni did not believe a word of it. She had to call Mickey fast, but Neil had to know too. She went to Neil’s office first.

Outside of Renegade base…

I landed Flygon on the pad of the base and proceeded down the steps to the commons. Many of the Rangers appeared to have no memory of what happened yesterday. I guess they were waiting patiently for an attack by the Union. I looked for Donny everywhere. I even checked the restroom.

“Mickey, I was wondering where you were.” Donny said approaching me. “Follow me.” Donny led me to the training arena. We went down a long flight of steps before we got there. It looked like a typical pokemon gym to me. You know the big pokeball thing in the middle, two sides for each trainer, lights. It amazes me that this gym is underground.

“Okay, let’s go Donphan!” Donny said unleashing his name appropriate pokemon.

“Doooon.” Donphan yelled sliding its foot on the ground like a Tauros.

“I guess you’ll be picking Typhlosion. Am I right?” Donny asked me. I wanted to try a pokemon out that I haven’t really seen battle.

“Nah, what about Grovyle.” I said tossing the pokeball to the middle of the arena.

“Grovyle!” The wood gecko yelled readying its fighting stance. Donny looked like he was annoyed. I guess he really wanted to battle Typhlosion.

“Donphan, Rollout!” Donny commanded his pokemon. Donphan began to roll into a ball. This move was all too familiar. Whitney, the Goldenrod Gym leader, defeated me with this move. Twice. Grovyle was not about to be taken out by this attack.

“Dodge it and slash it with Leaf Blade!” I eagerly yelled. Grovyle dodged the attack successfully. Donphan turned around and targeted Grovyle again. Grovyle’s leaves on its forearms began to get larger and glow green. Grovyle dashed towards Donphan leaving a green streak behind it. The two pokemon’s attacks collided. Grovyle seemed to struggle a bit but held on. Donny’s Donphan seemed stronger than it looked.

“Donphan, body slam!” Donny commanded his elephant pokemon. Donphan jumped high into the air. Grovyle was in deep trouble.

“This looks bad, dodge now!” I yelled. Grovyle rolled out of the direction of the attack. Donphan would now begin its onslaught

“Earthquake now!” Donny yelled in the heat of the battle. Donphan raised it’s to front feet and slammed them on the ground. The ground shook violently. I started to stumble. Grovyle could not keep its balance either. Thus, it can no longer attack for the moment. “Ha, ha Rollout!” Donphan rolled in a ball once again. As Grovyle tries regain its balance, it is hit by Donphan’s signature attack. Grovyle flew and hit the arena’s wall. “One more time!” Donphan rolled into a ball and attacked Grovyle again while it was on the wall.

“This can’t be good.” I said to myself thinking about my next move. Grovyle’s leaves on his forearm began to glow again. Overgrow. I didn’t think it was enough to win. “Leaf Blade to defend!” It was a risky maneuver, but was the only thing I could really think of. As Donphan rolled into Grovyle, the wood gecko put up it’s blade to defend the oncoming attack. Grovyle couldn’t defend this for long. Then Grovyle began to glow.

“Woah, great timing.” I said already knowing the consequence of a pokemon glowing. Evolution.

“Damn, this is not good.” I heard Donny mutter. The bright white glowing began to fade revealing a new form the wood gecko. It had a long neck. A lighter green than its previous form. Yellow bulbs were on its back and had a red stripe on its stomach. It also sported a long pine tree looking tail and longer leaves on its forearm. This pokemon was called Sceptile.

“This isn’t over. Earthquake!” Donny yelled as if this was a life or death battle.

“Oh yes it is. Jump Sceptile.” I commanded my newly evolved pokemon. Donphan once again lifted its front feet and stomped them on the ground. Sceptile, with its amazing agility, leaped to avoid the attack and quickly came back down. “Let’s end this now Sceptile. An uppercut Leaf Blade mixed with an agility.” Sceptile ran with blinding speed towards Donphan, whom was paralyzed with fear. The hit connected.

“Nooooo!” Donny screamed. Donphan was knocked up to the ceiling and still paralyzed with fear.

“Finish it with slam!” I yelled with extreme confidence. Sceptile leaped once again to astounding heights. Using its tail, Sceptile spun around and smacked Donphan. It started to fall at extreme speeds. Sceptile rushed back down to save the poor pokemon. In a matter of seconds Sceptile caught Donphan in its arms. I was amazed. Such power. I had a powerful grass type before but this one takes the cake.

“It’s over Mickey.” Donny told me while recalling Donphan with disappointment in his face. He walked out of the arena without saying a word.

“Sceptile scep!” Sceptile yelled with pride on its face. As if it made a permanent spot on my team and it had. I decided to show Vaporeon my team at the time and released it and Typhlosion at the same.

“Vaporeon.” The bubble pokemon yawned.

“Thyphlo!” My lethal fire type roared. I introduced Sceptile to Thyphlosion and Vaporeon. Thyphlosion greeted Sceptile with roar but Vaporeon did not seem to like Sceptile.

“Vapoor!” Vaporeon yelled firing Ice Beam at Sceptile. Sceptile jumped out of the way. Enraged, Sceptile launched at Vaporeon. I motioned Thyphlosion to stop the two. Typhlosion rushed in between Sceptile and Vaporeon and charged up a Thunderpunch. Using the Thunderpunch, Thyphlosion deflected the Leaf Blade sending Sceptile reeling back.

“Return, all of you.” I said recalling all of my pokemon. What got into Vaporeon? I pondered on this thought as I left the arena.

“Mickey, we have a mission.” Toni told me as I emerged from the long flight of stairs. She led me to Neil’s office.

“Mickey, Toni. There have been sightings of Go-Rock members coming in and out of their old base.” Neil informed us. “I need you two to investigate the base quietly. We don’t need to start a war with them either. Dismissed.”

“I’ve got to call Kindra to join us.” I told Toni calling Kindra on my Poke’gear.

“Oh, your friend.” Toni said with slight disappointment on her face.

“Yeah, I promised her that we could do a mission together.” I responded. “Hey Kindra. About that mission. It’s in Sekra Range. Yeah, Uh-uh, Are you sure. A map is probably in the lobby. You’re flying on Altaria. Okay bye.”

“Are you done, gosh?” Toni asked with a look of annoyance in her eyes.

“No, I’ve got to go to the restroom.” I answered. “Meet me outside.” Toni walked outside while I departed for the restroom. The reason: Call Lunick. As soon as I got in, I heard Donny speaking on his phone. I could barely hear him so I didn’t mind him.

“Woo that was a big one oh hey Mickey.” Donny said pretending to flush the toilet.

“Who was that on the phone?” I asked about to call Lunick as soon as he leaves.

“My mom what’s it to you, DAMN! Whoops uhh bye.” Donny yelled rushing out of the restroom. I still had Lunick’s number in my poke’gear after I was fired so I called him using speed dial. RING, RING!

“Hey Lunick meet me at Sekra Range. It’s about Go-Rock. Bye.” I left the restroom and headed outside. I noticed that I called him the way he called me. No responses

“Hey Mickey have you ever heard about a man named Joel.” Toni asked me as we headed to Go-Rock’s base.

“No I haven’t. Why?” I asked her.

“Donny was talking to him and well…” Toni told me. “Started acting weird.”

“Hmm, he did the same thing when I went to the restroom.” I responded.

“Hey Mickey.” I saw Kindra say flying on her Altaria and landing. “Well let’s go.” We continued our walk to the base passing the gigantic steps to Fiore Temple. As we walked, I could see envy in the eyes of Toni. The whole time we walked, she glanced at Kindra as if she hated her. I looked back and saw Lunick sneaking behind me. We had to keep a low profile about our little team up or the war would escalate. After climbing the rock wall, we made it to the base. I pressed the button and the elevator rose from the ground. I decided to release Vaporeon to get close to it after the fiasco in the training arena.

“Mickey, you hear something?” Toni asked eagerly checking her surroundings.

“Uhh no, I didn’t here a word.” I said trying to avoid Lunick.

“Good job Lunick, we finally found the wanted renegades.”

“Damn its Solana!” Toni cursed trying to find Lunick.

“Where the heck did you come from?” I asked.

“Let’s go Lunick, we don’t have time to hide.” Solana yelled trying to get Lunick out of his hiding spot.

“Okay, okay.” Lunick said coming out of his hiding spot.

“Do you really think you can stop us?” Toni asked with a cocky tone.

“Hell yeah and what are you going to do about it?” Solana asked in the same tone. Lunick and I sat back as they continued to argue.

“Can we just go…?” Kindra said before she was interrupted.

“SHUT UP!” Toni and Solana screamed simultaneously. Then all three began to argue.

“OKAY EVERONE QUIET!” I yelled. “Lunick, I assumed you have already told Solana the plan.” Lunick nodded to say yeah.

“Oh right the plan.” Solana said most likely remembering the terms of agreement.

“What plan?” Toni asked.

“I hoped I wouldn’t have to tell you this but,” I began to tell the plan. “Lance, leader of Kanto said that I can speak about the war. I’ll try to convince Spencer to end the war, but I have to beat Neil and take his position. Ending the Renegades. Lunick and I decided end our rivalry for the moment. So do you and Solana.”

“Woah!” Toni yelled seeming surprised. “Why didn’t you tell me?”

“Yeah well let’s go I’m waiting to fight some bad guys!” Kindra yelled.

“Okay let’s go.” I said about to march into Go-Rock’s Headquarters. Vaporeon, Solana, Lunick, Kindra, and Toni follow.

The Point of Origin
Here's a little preview of Ch 4 of the Renegade Ranger before it hit's the forums on both Serebii and pokecommunity this week.

Wait Mickey I need to tell you something.” Toni told me blushing. We didn’t have time but what she had to say had to have been important.

“What is it Toni?” I asked still sneaking around.

“I’ve only known y-you for a day and.” Toni fidgeted.

“Yeah.” I said looking around for any Go-Rock members.

Yeah not much but what will Toni tell Mickey? I don't know(well acually I do)
but check renegade out Saturday.

The Point of Origin
This chapter is a little short
Chapter 4:
Hidden Motive

We walk into the so-thought-deserted base. It looked as if it was still deserted, unlike Dusk Factory .I motion everyone to split up. I went through the old path. Pokemon had made a habitat here. They looked at Vaporeon and I like we weren’t strangers. Funny because most wild pokemon attack or get defensive when humans are around. Some Go-Rock members must be here.

“Hey Mickey over here!” I heard Toni callout to me. I rushed towards Toni to find a secret door in the floor of the lobby.

“Let’s go.” I said climbing the ladder down with Vaporeon and the others following. Once again, Go-Rock has fooled us. First Dusk Factory now Go-Rock headquarters. These guys have gotten smarter. We found a small closet to rendezvous.

“What the world,” I whispered. “I though we got rid of those guys.”

“Guess not.” Lunick responded.

“We need to spilt up.” Solana suggested. I thought it was a good idea. So did everyone else.

“Okay Toni and I will team up,” I started to command. “Solana and Lunick and I guess you’re by yourself Kindra, I know how you like to work alone.”

“Yeah Okay!” Kindra yelled. Everybody hushed her. I signaled the split (learned while being a ranger) and everybody went separate ways. Toni, Vaporeon, and I sneaked around their highly technological base. Lights, Dorms, Commons and Training areas were located everywhere. Rather reminds me of an upgraded ranger base.

“Wait Mickey I need to tell you something.” Toni told me blushing. We didn’t have time but what she had to say had to have been important.

“What is it Toni?” I asked still sneaking around.

“I’ve only known y-you for a day and.” Toni fidgeted.

“Yeah.” I said looking around for any Go-Rock members.

“I-I’ve s-sort of got a c-crush o-on you.” Toni struggled to get out.

“Umm yeah,” I said trying to get the words out of my mouth. “Not like I blowing you off but lets talk about this later?”

“Yeah that’s the best.” Toni responded. I was shocked. I only knew her for a day and she already likes me. I’ve still got it. We continued to sneak through the base undetected. The room we were looking for was right in front of us. The main terminal. I told Toni to watch out for Go-Rock members. I logged on to the terminal and a password prompt appeared. I remembered the old password and put it in. TWIR. An acronym for “The World Is Rocks.” I logged on and found something about Operation PKSP. I clicked on it and to my surprise….

Meanwhile…

Lunick and Solana were searching for Gordor’s main office. Previously, they stopped Gordor but they were badly mistaken. Lunick and Solana came upon an admin named Joel’s room. They searched in his desk and laptop.

“Hey Lunick, come here.” Solana called out to her partner.

“Yeah, just what we’re looking for.” Lunick responded. They found a signal on a Go-Rock member named Phrum. They also found some conversations between the two Go-Rock members.

Joel: You going to Fall city port right.

Phrum: Yeah, we’ve found a Blastoise.

Joel: pretty good.

Phrum: What about Nod? Did he get that Typhlosion?

Joel: No but I have another idea. We can screw with the Serum.

Phrum: No! That’s to risky.

Joel: Yeah you’re right. The scientist might discover it.

Phrum: Joel we need your assistance NOW!

Joel: What’s going on?

Phrum: The Blastoise is on a rampage!

Joel: On my way!

End Chat.

“Well we now where they are.” Lunick told Solana.

“Yeah let’s look up more info.” Solana replied.

Meanwhile…

Kindra was looking for any information. She found very little. Then she saw a door with LAB written on it. She entered in and saw a Blaziken, Venesaur and one more container that is probably for one more pokemon. They floated with bubbles coming upwards.

“Man a Blaziken and Venesaur.” Kindra said amazed. She saw a machine put a needle inside the tube containing Blaziken and Venesaur. The needles pierced the pokemon making them wince but they were in a deep slumber. Kindra looked at the computer. It read: Data analysis complete, Fire, Grass serum complete, Water Serum not complete, Needs Water type pokemon to complete test serum, Sending analysis to lab in Dusk Factory. Kindra was baffled. Why did they need pokemon DNA? What serum?

“Man that was a good.” She heard some random Go-Rock member say.

“Holy crap, time to go.” Kindra said to herself walking out of the room undetected.

Meanwhile…

“Lunick time to go,” I said running from some go-rock member. Toni and Vaporeon were following. I called Kindra next. “Time to go Kindra,” I hung up.

“Okay Mickey where are we going?” Toni asked me.

“To the exit!” I replied.

“Umm where is that.” Toni responded.

“Vaporeon fire an ice beam,” I commanded my bubble jet pokemon. It froze the ground making several Go-Rock grunts slip and fall. “This way!”

“Hey welcome back.” I heard Lunick say behind me. Solana was right behind him. Then Kindra popped up behind me. We found the entrance to the headquarters, and climbed up the ladder to the broken down area.

“We made it.” I said breathing deeply.

“No you didn’t.” We heard a deep voice say. We turned around to find a Go-Rock member.

“I’m ready for a battle.” I challenged the lone Go-Rock grunt. He pulled out a pokeball. I had never seen a Go-Rock member who uses pokemon like a trainer.

“Hmph, Empoleon let’s go.” He said blankly while throwing a pokeball. This pokemon was huge. It was blue, had large wings and a very metallic body structure. It had a trident on its forehead that also looked like a crown.

“Okay Vaporeon you’re up.” I called my watery friend.

“Vaaaaaporrrrrrr.” Vaporeon yawned its battle cry.

“Vaporeon wait,” I yelled. “Find a weak spot!”

“Hmph, you’ll by no means discover a frail spot,” The Go-Rock grunt chuckled. “Empoleon, aqua jet,” Empoleon sped off with a stream of water following. “Now mix it with a whirlpool!” Now it was charging at my Vaporeon with a whirlpool surrounding it.

“Quickly dodge it NOW!” I commanded my bubble jet pokemon.

“Oh no, you’re not going anywhere,” He said his deep manly voice. The whirlpool was preventing Vaporeon from getting away and Vaporeon was eventually sucked in. “Hahaha, now hit’em with steel wing!” Empoleon stood its ground and began to spin with its wings glowing. Multiple steel wings were now hitting Vaporeon, still trapped within the vortex of whirlpool. I had to do something. Vaporeon was getting hurt. Badly. For that moment, everything was still. As if time itself stopped. All of my thoughts gathered in one spot. I have experienced this feeling many times. I sure many trainers feel this feeling when their pokemon were in danger. This moment was given to see beyond what normal eyes see. This little time was all I had. I had thought of ideal plan to defeat this grunt.

“Hmph,” I smirked. “Vaporeon, hydro pump.” I told my pokemon in a calm and collected tone of voice. The blast of water shot Vaporeon out of the whirlpool, which made Empoleon stop.

“Do the exact same moves!” The Go-Rock member commanded his emperor pokemon. Once again, he started with aqua jet to rush the pokemon. Then he mixed aqua jet with whirlpool, making Empoleon look like a moving water tornado. The only difference about this time, I’m not letting him use steel wing.

“Get sucked into the whirlpool!” I told my Vaporeon.

“Are you crazy?” Kindra yelled seeming to think my plan is suicidal.

“Yeah, I am,” I responded. Vaporeon was sucked into the whirlpool hopefully for the last time. “Melt with the whirlpool!”

“What the, how did you, where did it go?” The Go-Rock member was baffled.

“Now for the main attack, jump now,” I commanded Vaporeon. Out of nowhere, Vaporeon gracefully jumped out of the whirlpool. “Ice beam!”

“Vaapoooor!” It yelled while firing blue ice bolts. It quickly froze Empoleon.

“Your still not going to get away!” He couldn’t try to stop of all us.

“Ice beam Vaporeon,” I commanded Vaporeon. The grunt and his Empoleon were side by side. Frozen in ice blocks. “Good job Vaporeon you deserve a good rest.” Vaporeon gave me a little lick before it went into the ball.

“Okay let’s share info!” Kindra busted out in excitement.

“Yeah, I forgot about that.” Solana replied.

“Its crazy what they’re doing,” I started to say. “They’re starting to make a serum.”

“I saw that too,” Kindra commented. “They had a Blaziken, Venesaur, and one empty container.”

“Yeah and they need a water type pokemon to finish the serum.” I added.

“WAIT,” Lunick yelled. “They must be trying to catch Blastoise in Fall City harbor!”

“Oh right we need to go!” Solana yelled. Kindra let out her Altaria and Aerodactyl. Toni released her Skarmory. I flew with Toni. Kindra flew on Altaria. Solana and Lunick flew on Aerodactyl. Toni didn’t speak on the flight there. She must be embarrassed. I didn’t care that she liked me, but it would have had to wait. Too much was going on. We were there. We saw about twenty Go-Rock members. I saw someone who looked like Murph, a Ringtown ranger. He had short spiked hair and was pretty chubby.

“Murph, you’re already on the case I see.” Lunick said ready to battle.

“Hmph, get away.” Murph said angrily. What got into him? He was always nice, considerate and would do anything for anybody.

“Slowbro, Hydro pump!” He commanded his pink hermit crab. The blast of water hit Lunick making him hit a wall.

“Lunick,” Solana screamed. “Who are you?” I checked on Lunick. He was unconscious.

“I’m Phrum.” He said.

“From where?” I asked.

“My name is Phrum.” He said agitated.

“From where?” I asked again.

“P-h-r-u-m you idiot,” He yelled. “Psychic, Slowbro!” I started to lift in the air with a blue aura. So much pain. I felt like I was going to get crushed. Then in one second. I started to fly towards the sea I couldn’t control myself. I was plummeting downward.

“He deserved it,” Phrum said. “Now for the three ladies.”

Okay, It's short. It's short because I decided to have a due date. I'm not doing the due date anymore so don't expect Ch 5 to be posted this week .I promise you that Ch 5 will be longer. Its going to be long anyway cause it's the half way point. No the first part half way point. I'm planninng on having two parts and if it's popular enough it will be a Trilogy. So yeah

The Point of Origin

It's nice that you're going to continue your fic, but you should really not bump it with a post saying that you're going to be posting the next chapter soon. From now on, just post the chapter, or you'll get an infraction for bumping the next time you do it.
