Repeat Ball+Electabuzz=Good?

I got Elekid (Let Hordel have what he wants). If I evolved it into Electabuzz, then will the Repeat Ball have a boosted effect?

It oughta. The Repeat Ball's effect is boosted whenever you obtained a Pokémon of the same species prior to the intended capture. It'll help, too, Electabuzz can be a pain to catch ._.

Like from Pickup, or winning something, or maybe some store?

Wrong forum, Dunsparce.

From what the FAQs at Gamefaqs show, you can't obtain a Repeat Ball. You could fail to snag it, beat the game, trade one from a cartridge, then use that one whenever Miror B. shows up, but that would be quite inconsequential and cumbersome.
