Replace Zam with Garde?

My Alakazam in the battle frontier can't stand up to sh**, so I'm thinking about using a Gardevoir instead.

Zam moveset for those who want an idea of what they're replacing:

Psychic
Ice Punch
Revover
CM

So should I replace Zam with Garde?

I like Zam in my BF team. I lead with it because its fast and powerful, but can maybe take only one hit. So I use it to take out as many of my opponents pokemon as possible before its taken out.

The only times I switch it out is if I face a dark pokemon, then I go to my physical sweeping fighter pokemon or if I face a psychic like another Zam and I switch to my sponge. I got all but 2 silvers with my team so far.
