    However, remember to keep your passwords secure. If you use similar logins on multiple sites, people and even bots may be able to access your account.

    We always recommend using unique passwords and enable two-factor authentication if possible. Make sure you are secure.

Defeat the pokemon. Also get more friend areas, so more pokemon would join. Only pokemon that you have their friend area would join you. Also every pokemon's last evolution wouldn't join you except for some exception on some pokemon. Another thing is some pokemon needs a boost to join.
