Restarts

How many times have you restarted to get a shiny legendary. I restarted 100 times today in 42 min for a shiny mewtwo. I haven't gotten one yet. I encourage you to keep on restarting if you have already started. It's a waste of time until you get a shiny. Then you won't thinks so.

No, I can't say I've ever done that. I may do that for Kyogre on Sapphire, because purple Kyogre rules all. I may or may not do it for Mewtwo on Leaf Green, probably not though. I sure as hell am not going to start the whole game over to get shiny legendary birds though. Not after all the effort I've put into it.

well once in leaf green i tried to get a shiny mewtwo so i restarted the game 'bout 8 times then i gave up, beside that i didn't realy care 'bout restarting for a shiny

I'm exattly the same, that's why i didn't bother restarting many times to get a shiny mewtwo

Shiny Pokemon have never really interested me. They're nice if you find them, but I'd never go out of my way to get a shiny anything. Waste of my life.

Considering that a majority of the people here don't use legendaries nor do I find a simple boosts in initial stats or that shiney thingy that happens... I'd find it a waste of time trying to get one.

That, and most shiney Pokemon (including Mewtwo) don't look that good in the first place (in terms of color). So I don't see why you would try. Maybe for bragging rights, but I would rather brag about my well-developed Pokemon team rather than my shiney legendary Pokemon.

None. I don't really care for shiny Pokemon. Legendaries are a pain to catch anyways. Just think about it, you restart 100+ times and see a shiny Legendary Pokemon. You start pounding on it and it faints or kills your team. A waste of time if you ask me. :/

I think the main appeal of the shinies is just that they're [somewhat] unique.

I'm trying for a shiny mewtwo to. Its not easy but it will so be worth it.

I can't say how many times I have restarted my LG, maybe over 1,000 times???

I have no patience for shinies... I've never even seen one to tell you the truth. XP Even if I did find one, with my luck, I'd make the little bugger faint.

Good luck with that though. You certainly have more patience than I do.

Once i really wanted a black raquaza, so i saved and soft reseted in front of it over 200 times without finding a shiny, then at 200+ (i dont no exactly how many) i found my black raqaza ^^

I reset for about 5 minutes for Rayquaza before I got bored with it. I had to do SOMETHING with my free time :< But other than that...to be honest, most shiny Legendaries are UGLY(or not different enough for the effort). Seriously. Pink Kyogre? Mustard Yellow Groudon? Flesh Pink Moltres? Brown-and-orange Regirock? Orange and red Ho-oh? Black-and-yellow masked Entei with slightly darker brown fur? Slightly-darker-yellow Zapdos? Bleh. D:

Sure about that, but there are others that are cute like Rayquaza, Mew, Unown, Charizard and maybe more, but that´s my opinion
