Return of Abyssion ~start~

Kev Chi

Guardian
Abyssion smriked. "The final seal....finished. I'll never have to see those summons again...hahaha..." He laughed to himself. Things couldn't be going any better for him.

"I thought those summons would put up more of a fight but..." he krinned his face in anger. "...if even Lloyd and his group could beat them..." Abyssion closed his fist in anger. Just the mention of Lloyd made his blood boil. After a few seconds, he calmed himself.

Abyssion was stationed in the Temple of Darkness. He had just finished the seal on Shadow, the lich of Darkness. Abyssion, having finished all the seals, decided to start the next part of his plan. Walking back to the enterance of the temple, he turned to a giant tree. "Erggg...that tree is such an eyesore..." he gripped his fist in rage again. "If I some sort of revenge on Lloyd...that tree would be of some help, seeing how Lloyd helped that tree grow. I think it's time for a little deforestation..."

Abyssion gathered all of his weapons, the nine Weapons of Darkness, and flew over to the Great Karlan Tree. Upon arriving, guards were stationed around the tree. Abyssion landed out of sight of the guards, then started to walk up to the tree. One of the guards stoped him.

"Halt. What bussiness do you have here?" he asked

"I have come to destory that tree..." replied Abyssion. The guard laughed.

"Hahaha....ok crazy. I think it's best if you come with me..." The guard laided one of his hands on Abyssion, who in turned, threw him at one of the guards standing around. Two other guards, seeing this, started to charge at him.

"Ingdination..." An upside cone aroura formed around the two guards. Baffled in fear, they stopped. After a few seconds, a bolt of lightning struck the two guards, frying them. The other guard ran in retreat.

Abyssion turned again to the tree. "For you Lloyd....Flame Lance." A giant flame sword appered in the sky. After appering, it struck the tree, sending it into blazing flames. Abyssion then jumped high up and, drawing his sword, cut the tree down the middle. He landed back on the ground with a thud, while the tree's halfs landed with a crash, still burning firecely. He smriked with an evil happiness. "The two lands that the tree held together are now spilt...perfect...Now for even more chaos..." Abyssion raised his hand. A few monsters formed out of darkness around him. "Go..." They nodded and went off. Besides the monsters that appered before him, others were coming out of all the temples, some just appering in the wild. Abyssion stood there, watching the tree burn. He stood, smirking, then letting out an evil laugh. "Hehehe...HAHAHAHA!" (enter Septhorith's theme song. =P)

Kev laied outside of his hometown, Palamacosta. Palamacosta was a huge trading town, always full of activty. Kev streched out his arms and legs.

"Ahhh...the grass is always green and the brezze is always nice here...Can't get much better then this." he said to himself

"Kev! Get your lazy *** over here!" Kev got up to see one of the teachers at the Palamacosta Acadamy, a famed universety know for it's pretesgist graduates. The teacher was a big, gruff man, wearing a blue robe. His face was shaggy, like someone who didn't know how to shave. He had dark, black hair and blue eyes.

"What the **** do you think your doing out here?! You got kids to tutor!" he shouted.

"Relax Henry...Geez, you swear more then the kids do...." replied Kev calmly, getting up from the grass.

"Watch your mouth smart ***! I don't care how smart you are, your still just a tutor and that means I'm your boss! People paid good money to get in here and they expect to do good! Now get in there!"

"Fine fine...I'm going...You don't know how to have any fun do you?" said Kev, starting back toward the town.

"Yelling at you is my fun!" said Henry, kicking Kev in the butt, motioning him to move faster.

"You must be pretty anti-social then." smriked Kev

"Why you little...!" Kev then started to run back to the school. Entering, he turned right. Going past a few doors, he entered his room. Full of students, they all turned their heads to see Kev entering, and they quieted down. "Whats up class? You all are here for history help I'm guessing?" History was Kev's specialty. "Well, open your books to Chapter 4..."

OOC: I'm quite happy with my intro. :D Wish I could type like this for my fanfic. Btw, my charater really reflects myself well on how I am irl. I really hope on becoming a high school history teacher.

Aeon had just left Asgard and was on his way to Hakonesia Peak. His hands were on the handle of his swords which was a normal habit. As he was about to go through Hakonesia Peak, a man that just came through Hakonesia Peak yelled out to him. He drew a sword thinking it was an enemy. He withdrew it quickly as the man walked over. "Do you happen to know where Asgard is?" he asked. "Oh just keep going north while looking to the left" Aeon replied.

"Thank you" the man said as he left. Aeon continued and soon was past Hakonesia Peak. He walked along the dirt path and soon passed the House of Salvation. Then Palmacosta was in view and Aeon walked faster.

Misah sat alone on the empty peak of Hima mountain. Down below the tiny village consisting of only a single Inn and a few mobile traders bustled around on their daily business. Misah sat, legs crossed beneath him, head tilted back, eyes closed his mind focused on nothing. Meditation and calming of the mind and soul was the key to enlightenment. The wind the constant rattled around the mountain peaks whipped up his cape and clothing in a constant frenzy suddenly died down.

Misah's deep breaths froze and he let it all go to check his surroundings. His ears twitched slightly and he glanced around, his head following behind his eyes, as though moving it were causing something to disappear from his peripheral vision. Then something struck him, and he felt a force of energy flow throughout him. The grey's of his clothing shimmered and quickly flashed through many different colours. A scream filled his head, and he blacked out.

Misah woke up to a young girl wiping his head with a damp cloth. He sat up with a start and looked around. She stood back for a second then left the room. Misah climbed out of the bed and moved quickly to a window. He heard the door open behind him but didn't turn around.

"Misah, are you ok?" an old man asked. Misah didn't respond, he was looking for something out the window.

"Misah, we heard you screaming on the mountain. When we found you, you were unconscious. We didn't know if we needed a healer or not, I was about to send someone out for you."

"Did you feel it?" Misah said, spinning around to stare at the two people by the door. The old man had semi-pointed ears, a half-elf, while the girl was a human.

"Feel it? What do you mean?" He asked.

Misah hesitated, then grabbed his staff and belongings and pushed through the two for the entrance to the Inn. He was half out the door when he paused He didn't turn around completely, instead just tilting his head around a little.

"There's been a shift in the world's Mana. I suppose only physicians and magic users worry about such things. I have to leave."

Misah left the inn at Hima and quickly headed down the mountain. At the base he paused. Where was he going to go? Palmacosta? It was a long way for one man to walk, especially when he was not a skilled fighter. Luin was the closest, and since it's reconstruction a haven for the more skilled fighters seeking it's stock of powerful weapons. Misahk checked the local area for wildlife, before setting off down a dirt path for the City of Water.

Melunas was assuming his more... nomadic side. He didn't stay in any particular place for what would seem to be a normal span, but he seemed to enjoy staying in Luin the most, partially because Luin was his hometown. It was still in its restored state from when Lloyd's "fellowship" had come to restore it themselves. He glanced at the giant statue of Raine in front of one the buildings. He had wondered what she had done in the day - after all, she _was_ a half-elf who somehow managed to sway everyone from suspicion. Suddenly, there were a couple of young townspeople who managed to catch a glimpse of his figure in front of the statue. Soon there was an admiring sigh as Melunas turned around. He was... shocked, to say the least. No one had ever approached him like THAT. In any case, Melunas simply chuckled, and the townspeople had both asked in unison "How do you keep that figure? You're... a guy, right?"

Melunas had NEVER been asked THAT question before, not in his whole entire life! He did not know what to say. Of course, they would never believe him if he had said something lazily and haphazardly. But he had to avoid the question, as revealing it now would be a waste. Word would go everywhere. Somehow. He didn't like it.

"Err... yes. Me? I just eat healthily. Exercise. You know. The normal stuff." Melunas had said, albeit rushed and with a slight tinge of uncertainty.

They fell for it. They surely fell for it. The guy and his female friend both nodded, smiled, laughed, then bounded off for god knows where. Melunas sighed as he did not want to get into anymore bad mishaps.

The sun beamed down on the town of Palamacosta. The sky was clear and bird sang... A guy hit the wall of one the building; he was covered with scratches and bruise his friends move out of the way as a figure shrouded in shadow come toward the injury man. Stepping into the sunlight a lady with black hair in a ponytail became visible. Her eyes burned with fury as she continued to come closer. She gripped the man's collar and pulled him up to her eye level.

"You..." she growled, anger was clear in her voice, "You broke my shield, that cost me a lot of money that I had to earn, you!" She punched the guy in the face knocking him out cold. She dropped him on the ground turning walking through the gather people who moved out of her way.

Her name is Sapphire Gem a lady with attitude and she not afraid to show it.

Rico sat in the Palmacosta Resturant, swirling the thick, burgandy liquid in his glass; the Light of Martel proped up on the side of his chair. He took a sip of his potion and set the glass containing the concotion on the simple wooden table. In a flash, a sharp pain entered his head, bashing the nerves encasing his skull. He gripped his head, falling to the floor and the Light of Martel fell with him. The chubby woman who ran the small, quite restruant rushed over to his aid. "Are you all right?" the woman asked, worried.

"Yes, I'm fine. Just an unexpected migrane." Rico said. He stood, plopping a bag of Gald on the humble table, and walking out the door. When he left the resturant, his sheild started to shake. The bright greens and the silver started to eminate multipule colors. "A shift. Good thing the Light of Martel took the brunt of the mana shift, or I would be close to death right about now." Rico said to himself. "Let's go see how much such a shift affected my magic." And with that, Rico walked to the town's enterance.

IC: "Alright...Can anyone guess what time it is?" Kev asked his class.

"A...lunch time?" replied one of the students. The class laughed.

"Nope. You guys are my lucky contestens on Today's Quiz or No Quiz?" The class let out moans of dispair. "Which is kind of a dumb question because the answer is always Quiz!" Kev said with a smile. "If you guys do well, you get a prize of an A and just maybe even a shiny gold star! How does that sound?" People around the class just mumbled. "Don't worry, it's only 10 questions. You'll brezze through it."

Just then, the building began to shake a bit. "Kev, what's going on?" one of the students said, worried.

"Not sure." After a few minutes, the shaking stop. "Everyone alright?" Kev looked around the room to see that no one was injuried. "Everyone stay here. I'm go outside to see if anything happened." Kev quickly grabbed his pike, usually leaning against the wall near his desk, and went outside the acdamey.

Kev stopped just outside of the enterance, looking around to see if anything had happened. Then something caught Kev's eyes. Something was coming toward the town from the grassy fields. Something not normally seen. They were almost like zombies, having a sword and shield with them, their flesh dry and olive green in color.

"This can't be good..." Kev told himself

you were the one.
People say water is inexistent - simply a substance composed of hydrogen and oxygen in the form of liquid - but they've never been here. They've never been surrounded by clear, shimmering pools of the ocean, so deep it is as equivalent as staring into someone's eyes. They've never been sprayed by particles of raindrops in the early morning, the scent sweet and dewy. They've never been here, the only place of hope, where water eventually gives rise to a hidden, magnificent kingdom.

But Pavelle knew. She loved the feeling of water, simply the very essence of it, brushing lightly past her bare feet when walking to shores, or when dangling them freely beneath the wooden docks. It was all so delicious and magical; Luin simply gave off that feel.

She knew she shouldn't be dawdling like this. Pavelle idly stared at the perfet endless sky, lazily stretching herself on the dock. Adjacent was a marvelously crafted staff, a single orb of translucent white encrusted on top, Snowlight. She smiled lightly, evidently pleased at her cherished weapon. The air was filled with salt and fish, wafting thick and heavy, especially near the ships. She breathed deeply and imbibed every meaning it foretold. She loved the smell, and more importantly, she loved Luin - her perpetual sanctuary of content and joy.

The sudden shift in the air made her blink twice. Was it her, or was the sky radiating an eerie vibe? Mana? she silently questioned. An imblance or... It was then the young woman abruptly got up, dusting her frail cloak off, picking up the staff. She frowned, vaguely wondering if other magic users had sensed the same thing...they must have. It suddenly dawned to her then; she was curious, and wanted to find out.

With that said, Pavelle quickly ran off to the nearest weaponry shop; she wanted ro recondition Snowlight.

There had to be about 10 - 15 zombies coming toward the town. Just looking at one of them made you lose your lunch, now just imagine looking at that many.

"I really hope I don't have to touch one of those guys..." said Kev with a disgusted look on his face. "Well, they look like their looking for a battle, so if it's a battle their looking for..." Kev twirled his pike above him, then snapped his arm and pike stright out on an angle, his pike pointing to the ground. "...then it's a battle they'll get."

Kev ran out to the field they were coming for while the people in town ran into houses and building in fear. "Lucky me...I get to fight them all by myself." Kev said to himself

The majorty of the zombie army stopped, while 3 of them started to charge at Kev. Kev stopped and took a defensive pose, awaiting for his fate. Will he died here and become one of them or live to see another day?

The first zombie swang his sword veritally. Kev held his pike up horizanally, blocking the attack. Kev the sword of to the side, causing the zombie to stumble. "Demon Fang!" Kev swung the top of his pike from the ground up to the sky, causing a surge of energy to race around the ground, blasting the zombie backward.

The two zombies at Kev's side swung their swords at the same time. Kev, having barely any time to react, jumped forward and hit ground. "That was too close..." Seeing the first zombie starting to get up from Kev's first attack, Kev knew he needed to work fast.

The second zombie charged at Kev. "Sonic Thrust!" Kev jabbed the head of his pike through the back of the zombie, a gust of wind then expoled from were Kev had jabbed him, causing him to fly back into two halfs. Bits and pieces of dead, slimy skin flew onto Kev's face. "Nice..." Kev exclaimed in a sarcastic tone.

The first one, already weaked, started to come after Kev again. "Air Blade!" commanded Kev. A dome of air formed around his torso. Within the dome, sharp gusts of air slashed across his body, causing him to fall to the ground in chunks of his former self.

Kev was starting to wear down now. Something wasn't right. Was the mana he used causing him to feel this way? Wasn't mana suppore to be ever flowing due to the tree? With 13 more zombies to go, Kev hope he could gain a second wind. The last of the three zombies charged at Kev, appecting to swing his across Kev's chest. Kev jumped backwards. "Lightning!" A bolt of lightning rained down from the sky, striking the zombie. The burning of his dead skin made a putrid arouma come into the air. With the wind blowing gently toward Kev, he picked up on the smell.

Getting a wiff of the horrid smell, Kev's nostials began to burn. Kev sure was glad he didn't eat lunch before doing this, otherwise he sure would have lost it. "Defenially wrong spell to use on a zombie..." Kev mumbled to himself.

Kev got down on one knee, looking to see the other 12 zombies waiting to have the chance at Kev. "Is this the end...?" Kev asked himself.

Rico wacthed as a band of zombies trugded into the quite city. "Well, well. These look like formitable enemies." Rico lifted the Light of Martel and assumed his battle pose. "Ruler of the Underworld, bring your flames and rage upon my enemies! Flame Pillars!" he chanted, but nothing happened. "I guess the shift has impared my magic abilities... Ah, well." He held the shield in the same manner again, and a circle of energy appeared around him. "Fireball!" He shouted; three orbs of fire shooting out at a Zombie. The Zombie fell backwards, in flames, and knocked another over. Both of the bodies started to burn, creating a horrible smell. Rico cringed at the smell, but ignored it. "Icicle!" He shouted. A cone of ice, surrounded by spikes of the same makeup, erupted from under another Zombie.

Rico looked to his right, hearing someone else fighting the re-animated corpses. The man was casting various spells, and taking down some with his large pike. "Stone Blast!" Rico shouted, his attention still locked on the man. A good deal of stones sent the Zombie about to attack him flying. The man dropped to the ground. Rico couldn't decide if it was from pain, exaustion, or just genral doubt, but he rushed over to his aid regardless. "Are you all right?" he asked, propping the Light of Martel up aganist his back to prevent further attack.

Might I suggest this version instead? :)

Misah heard screams coming from Luin, and he ran down the dirt road as fast as he could. Since leaving Hima, he'd not encountered a single wild beast of any kind, nor has any rogues or wannabe wizards tried to rob him of his belongings. He was beginning to wonder if he'd been wrong about there being a problem. Now he was sure of it. Luin was a peaceful town, had been since it was first established, always would be no matter how often it fell into ruin. The screams were getting louder and more concerning. Misah battled through fleeing citizens to get into the town where he came a upon a sight he though he would never bare witness too.

Several undead creatures, Zombies, Ghouls he wasn't sure which, were slowly tearing the city apart. Though weak and slow moving, the creatures were not to be underestimated, and the evidence of a few people lying battered and bruised on the ground suggested this wasn't a widely known fact. Women, children even some men were trapped with many of the creatures between them and safety. Elsewhere, the weapons shop was opening it's doors and people were rushing out to take on the foes. Misah didn't stop to worry about how well some of them would do. Half looked like they'd grabbed something off a shelf and run out blind to what good they would manage with a blunt knife.

Misah shook his head, raising his staff out in front of him, an ethereal wind caught his robes and whipped them into a frenzy.

"I call out to the wild hunters... I summon thee into battle Nightraid!" Misah shouted. His staff seemed to reflect a light for a moment, then a large wolf came bounding in from nowhere.

The Nightraid was unlike a regular wolf, due to it's dark red fur, and more vicious nature in a fight. The beast was unlike any wild monster though, as it immediately leapt on the nearest zombie, pulling to the ground as it rolled over the floor, before tearing out the creature's throat and completely severing the head. Two people who would otherwise have been trapped got up and ran out, but the Nightraid's sudden appearance caught the attention of three zombies who started to make their way towards Misah.

"Ah, this leaves me with something of a problem." he said, getting a firm grip on his staff. The closest zombie was on the receiving end of a strong smack to the side of the head, while the others took swift jabs to the chest. Had Misah been a real hunter armed with a sword, such blows would have ended the zombies swiftly. As he was, he could barely lay a scratch on them.

"I do hope someone in that weapons shop knows what they are doing." he mused, stepped away from the zombies and clubbing one on the back of the head.

Now that Aeon was in Palmacosta, he went and got something to eat. Aeon sighed with his hunger now gone. Then he heard a commotion coming from the entrance. He saw a whole mess of zombies just about to kill someone. Aeon rushed to the zombies that were about to attack. "Hurricane Thrust!" Aeon said. "Hey you alright?" Aeon said. Then he slashed an incoming zombie. He slashed another but they seemed to be able to handle the damage. "Great, just great" he muttered.

"Tempest!" Aeon said. "Crap!" Aeon muttered as the zombies kept coming. "Sword Rain: Beta!" Aeon shouted.

you were the one.
"I told you," Pavelle reiterated impatiently for the umpteenth time, "I have the gald outside; it'll only be a moment before I give it to you." The reconditioning of Snowlight had come to a hefty price. The owner, once thoroughly annoyed at her lack of money, had threatened to break it apart into splinters to mold a new equipment for other customers. Pavelle had become enraged then, trying to bargain her precious staff out of this. The man narrowed his eyes, staring queerly at the adamant young woman glaring daggers at his own hand, which happened to be gripping her staff tightly.

"Y'sure you do? 'Cause I don't seem to trust you, at all," he added quite nastily, tightening his hold. Eyes carelessly traveled over to her ears; too short to be of an elf, too pointy to be of a human.

"Look," she started annoyingly, not before the doors of the weapon shop flung open. In came a barrage of random people screaming bloody murder. In the midst of all the commotion, Pavelle excitedly snatched the staff from the man, weaving her way skillfully through the crowd. Thank God, she thought, choosing to ignore the furious lines of profanity mingling with the screams.

Once outside, though, she regretted her decision. Even more people were screaming, rushing to get past her, flooding into the weapon shop and other buildings for sanctuary. At once Pavelle saw what was causing the pandemonium.

Zombies. Disgusting, foul, annoying zombies.

From the corner of her eyes, she spotted another being with a wolf (enemy, ally, or pet?), evidently trying just as hard to drive away the hoard of the ghouls. And he used a staff, too! Imagine! Elated, she hacked her way towards him, oblivious to the fact they simply rised up just as fast. Blows of the staff weren't mind-numbing, after all.

"Photon!" she yelled, raising her staff, emitting a strong flare of light, immediately crushing the withered body. One down. For once, the half-elf was thankful for her natural light ability.

That was a strange sight. An extremely strange sight. Melunas probably really couldn't believe his eyes but they were there. Creatures from another otherworldly void, must have made their way through in order to make their existance present on the surface, the material plane. He began to hear many screams, creating more chaos. Melunas had noted to himself never to do that - that was what the enemy wanted - to cause chaos within the ranks. Melunas simply sighed, and slowly shoved and pushed through the frantic citizens in order to get a better view of what was going on.

And then, he saw the creatures in a closer look. He noted the grotesque features of their faces, practically melting into itself, just gasping and groaning for the chance to kill the living, feed on their flesh, and become rejuvenated once again for another repeat of their dreaded, neverending cycle of death and rebirth. They were merely jealous of the living, at least, that was what Melunas thought. He had... let's say, a more philosophical outlook on life. In any case, he drifted forward and saw several of those amalgamated ghouls raise their hands in a cry of battle. And they charged.

Melunas sighed, and held Secret Innocence tightly in its scabbard. As the ghouls came near, Melunas had drawn Secret Innocence and sliced at least two of them cleanly in half. The last one was wise and had stepped back a little, but not before facing Melunas' foot and getting stabbed down. Melunas then saw a figure bearing a staff, with a wolf companion. He had thought that he was in trouble, and he could already tell that he really didn't have a choice in defending himself.

In a surge of random chivalry, he rushed to the figure's location, and saw that several zombies were in his face, at least, practically. So, Melunas simply beheaded a group of the zombies with a single strike from his long katana.

Melunas simply asked, "Need help?"

Sapphire stood in the shadows as she watched a group of people fight against a horde of zombies. Most of them were wearing robes and using magic. She assumed the ones using magic were elf or half-elf but she couldn't tell for sure.

"I wonder if I should help them" she thought not really wanting to have to talk to those people, "I guess I'll help because with help like me they won't need anyone else." While Kev was awaiting his certain doom with closed eyes, he realized death was coming alot slower then he thought. He looked up to see 3 other people fight against the zombies.

One looked to be a swordsman, carring one sword in his right hand and the other in his left. He seemed to have more energy then a rabbit, watching him do all of these fancy sword moves and hopping all over the place.

Another person fighting didn't look to be the aggerivse fighter. He carried a shield, something you wouldn't expect as a weapon. Kev noticed some of the spells he was casting, spells he had never seen before. That person must be a caster, a stronger caster then Kev.

Last, a person he didn't expect to find fighting out here. A woman. Kev thought a female wouldn't even want to touch one of those zombies, let alone fight it. She seemed to be in the same class as Kev, working quite well with her dagger, also with casting spells.

Kev breathed a sigh of relief. With the zombie army scathered among the three others, this gave Kev a chance to rest up a bit. After a few minutes, he got back up on his own feet. Swinging his pike like he did when the army first came, he was ready to go.

Out of the army, only one zombie remained that wasn't fighting the others. "Well now, seems your in the same spot I was just a moment ago?" The zombie stood there for moment, and soon after, pulled off his head, threw it out onto the field, while the body fell over limp.

Kev stood sorta stunned seeing this. "Hahaha...who knew zombies would surcum to intimidaten?" Kev shook his head from side to side. "You better stay that way too if you know whats good for you." he yelled at the corpse.

He decided then he should go help the others. Least it would get the threat out of here that much faster. Besides, he didn't want them to have all the fun.

Aeon chuckled. "Die stupid monsters" Aeon muttered. He slashed a zombie at it's neck and arms. "Hurricane Thrust!" Aeon said. He slashed a zombie that was creeping up to him. "Tempest!" he said. A zombie walked over to him and attempted to slash Aeon's face. Aeon quickly blocked it and slashed it. Oathkeeper and Oblivion were getting very messy with the zombie's dead skin and stinky as well.

"Sonic Thrust!" he said. Aeon finished his move only to find even more zombies. "Where are they coming from?" Aeon muttered. He slashed another zombie but one attacked his back. His back was bleeding and there was a nasty cut. Despite the pain, Aeon kept fighting. "Beast!" he said. He slashed the zombie responsible for hurting his back. "Tempest!" he shouted. He got out of the small circle the zombies were forming around him.

"Demon Fang!" he said. Oathkeeper's blade made a shockwave on the ground and hurt a nearby zombie.
