returners/the new dex

since there are going to be about 500 pokemon available in these games, i think theyll make another pokedex with all the new pokemon and some of the old ones, like R/S/E. i know it was a crap idea, but its likely.

so, what oldies are we hoping or expecting to see?

im really glad that sneasel is a definite returner.snorlax, mr.mime and sudowoodo are also deifinites.

i think that Pikachu will return, along with geodude, wynaut, eevee, abra, jigglypuff and psyduck.

if there are more pokemon than the actual dex allows, then theyll be obtainable from a seperate area in the games and through trading from GBA (after youve beaten the elite 4)

Don't forget Machop and Tentacool. They've been in all the games so far.

They'll obviously keep Pikachu, and maybe Marill, and of course Zubat. It's just not a Pokemon game without thousands of the little things swarming you every time you enter a cave.

If they for some reason don't have Tentacool or Zubat I'll SCREAM. I LOVE Tentacruel and Crobat. They rock, end of story u_u

I have a feeling Marill and Wobbufett will be in it... They've been seen frequently since their debut in GSC.

Voltorb/Magnemite are also posibilities. They're in EVERY SINGLE gameboy game.

And Magikarp, Sandshrew, Vulpix, Oddish, Doduo, Grimer, Koffing, Rhyhorn, Horsea, Goldeen, Staryu, Chinchou, Natu, Slugma, Corsola, Skarmory, and Phanphy are likely to appear. There's more, but some of them are painfully obvious.

With all the new pokemon and evolutions... I sure hope that they completely rehaul the pokedex. I'm tired of switching back andforth between several pages to see a baby pokemon's stats as compaired to it's evolved form's stats.

The game programmers always seem to include the main ones (Pikachu, Jigglypuff, Zubat, Machop, Abra, Tentacool, Phanpy) and the ones that have gained popularity recently (Taillow, Snorunt, Corphish, Torkoal, Heracross) and let's not forget that D/P will be able to link with R/S/E/FR/LG so I'm expecting 85% of the Pokemon to be new.

In addition to your standard fare of Machop, Abra, Tentacool, Zubat, and their ilk, I would like to see Slowpoke in this game, most surely. Including it in only one game that can interpret this newfangled format of data so far is rather disgraceful, and adding Slowpoke will give those deprived Fire Red users a prime chance to snag one of their own at long last.

I hope Ditto returns. Saves a lot of hassle when you can just leave a Ditto Pimp in the daycare.

I personally hope that the Safari Pokemon from RBY return as I would like to see Chansey, Scyther, Pinsir etcetera. Also, I would like to see Koffing return as it too has been in every single game although it hasnt been mentioned.

on pokemon: what if they took out zubat and tentacool (0_o) and replaced them with something else... probably not as annoying, but annoying none the less.

on dex: the dex should have like something that shows like the base stats of a pokemon you have caught. it can always help with EV training!
