So I am just coming back and playing pokemon. I think the last card expansion i played was the gym leaders so i was wondering i for example im using sabrina's genger

says Dark Wave "All pokemon powers stop working until the endo of your opponets next turn" So does that stop the newer pokemon with abilites or are the abilities something that is completely diffrent? thank you.
