The Forest's History
There is a great forest in this world. A peaceful, quiet forest, where animals lived in peace for generations. It was calm there, and it was thriving with life. Yes, much life. There were deer, rodents, birds, moose, and the greatest carnivore, the wolf. The wolves ruled the forest, taking only what they needed and leaving what they didn't. They ran to new places when prey was scarce, stayed when it was plentiful. They were very wise in their way, and it was they who kept balance in the forest. This balance was needed, and if destroyed the results could be disasterous. The wolf's prey had only one major predator, and if it was gone, they would overpopulate like crazy. This came close to happening, and the peace was once broken. There was one creature that could end it, one creature that could destroy the balance between predator and prey. That creature was Man.
They came as hunters, began killing off the forest, and nearly destroyed the balance. Armed with their guns, they killed the deer. They killed the rabbit and the birds and the moose, drasticly affecting their numbers. But worst of all, they nearly blew apart the wolf. Prey became scarce, wolves kept dieing, the balance was set off. The hunters were ruining the forest. However, their reign did not last forever. They got what they deserved: Death. The wolves invaded their camp, and tried to kill the hunters. And they succeded. Only one man got away, and he was badly injured. The rest, dead. The one who escaped spread news of a dangerous wolf pack that lived in the forest, and most people stayed away from the forest. But only for so long could their absence last..
A few decades later (About modern time)
The wolves of the pack that saved the forest are gone. They died decades ago, after living a happy, peaceful rest of their lives. But their grandchildren still live. They rule the forest now, with the same wise ways of their ancestors. Prey is now plentiful, and Man hasn't entered their domain since the hunters were killed. Peace rests here once again, and the wolves are happily living in freedom. In fact, the forest has so much prey and is so peaceful that lone wolves are coming here, ready to live the rest of their lives well. The pack is healthy and strong, even though winter is approaching. No animals seem to mind the cold, and grass is still growing stong despite the change of season. The balance between predator and prey has been restored well. All the creatures of the forest are in harmony. But a dangerous threat is coming. It will be unpredicted, strong, and deadly. This threat has come before, but this time it will be worse. Much worse. Man is back.
They have more modern weapons now, like better guns and knives and special traps. There are more of them this time. They know more about how to effectively kill a wolf with great speed and ease. But worst of all, the hunters brought dogs. Mean, vicious wolf-hunting dogs, who can track them down and tear them apart. The hunter's arrival could mean the death of the pack, and the destruction of the forest's balance. It could mean the forest's demise. The prey could range into Man's territory, and get so numerous that Man would have to start killing them off. And soon all traces of the forest's harmony would vanish. So the wolf pack is left with one choice: They have to fight back.
Can they prevail through the harsh winter and the hunters' evil? Can they survive and live on in peace? Can they manage to drive off the hunters and save their home? Only time will tell.
You are a wolf of the pack, ready to defend your home against hunters and starvation. Or, you are a lone wolf who recently found this forest, but doesn't know humans are here yet. Or you are a hunter dog, loyal to your humans and ready to kill some wolves. Whatever your choice, the forest's fate could be in your paws...
Sign Ups
You can be a wolf of the pack, a lone wolf, or a dog. I need at least 5 pack wolves, 2 lone wolves, and 1 dog. There can be up to 20 sign ups for the pack, the others don't have a limit. And also, only make 1 character, unless you really, really want to play as two. But please just try to leave it at one. Also, if I don't accept your sign-up, you get a chance to edit it . I'll look at your sign-up again. If it still isn't good enough then sorry, you can't sign up. It's simple enough.
* =required information
Pack Wolf Sign Up
(Pack Wolves are the grandchildren of the old pack, the one that saved the forest decades ago. They are fighting the hunters)

*Age: 1-15 (1 is just barely an adult wolf, 15 is old for a wolf)
*Gender: Duh.
*Rank: Wolves in packs have ranks. A wolf must obey any wolf in the pack with a higher rank. Alpha is highest (there can be 2: male and female), Beta is second highest (there can be 6), middle rank (there is no limit), and the lowest is Omega (there can be 2). I want one wolf of each rank at least. I will be the alpha female, so if you want to be an alpha you have to be male, and after that no more alphas.
*Description: All I really need is size, fur color, maybe eye color, anything else that sticks out. 3 sentences MINIMUM.
*Personality: This is easy. 3 sentences MINIMUM.
History: Not exactly required but prefered, or at least if you were born to the pack or whatever.

Hunter Dog Sign Up
(The loyal companions of hunters, hunting dogs. They can either stick with their masters and kill the wolves, or turn against them)

Extra things to know...
Wolves (both lone and pack) need to hunt. The alpha pair decide when to go out to hunt, and the whole pack goes, exept for pregnant mothers or mothers still watching over pups. They can kill things like Deer, moose, rabbits, voles (mouse-like rodents), and sometimes small birds. Porcupines are rare, and can be killed and eaten but, would you risk it against those quills?
Female players can have pups, but you have to PM me and the RPer controling the male wolf you wish to mate with beforehand. DO NOT descibe anything about the mating, just let it be known that the wolf is pregnant. And you don't have to tell who th pups' father is, but you can if you want to. Remember that pregnant mothers can't hunt or fight untill they are done nursing pups. The male can bring food. Just so it doesn't take forever, pups will be born 3 days after pregnancy is confirmed (You get a PM from me and the other wolf's RPer saying it's okay). Pups can be normal pack members after 5 days. You can play as them for a minor part, but you don't have to, or someone can play as a pup after PMing you to ask. The same rules apply to dogs and lone wolves.
Also, note that as wolves you won't understand humans. You won't know exactly what they do, what guns are, what dogs are, what a trap is, or what anything made made by them is and what anything they do is about. Human are unknown to these wolves.
One more thing, the alpha male can be a co-gamemaster.

Okay, I'm welcoming sign ups! After there's at least 3 pack wolves and 1 lone wolf we can start. And here's my sign up.
Pack Wolf
*Name: Ameri (in case pronouncing is hard, Am-eer-ee)
*Age: 6
*Gender: Female
*Rank: Alpha female
*Description: She is a pure white wolf, but the tips of her ears and tail are black. Her paws are a bit larger than normal wolves' paws (wich are already big). Ameri is about at normal size for a wolf, close to five feet long from nose to tail and 29 inches at the shoulder. She has deep blue eyes, which is uncommon in wolves, that have many dark blue shades blended in them. Her tail is a little longer that most wolf tails as well, around 23 inches long.
*Personality: Ameri is calm most of the time, but angered easily. She is very protective over her pack and won't let it fall apart. Her dominant ways may seem harsh, but it is what she needs to be an alpha. Ameri tries to be understanding and kind, but it doesn't always work out. She will not tolerate anything that gets in the way of the pack's survival, and will try hard to shred apart anything that does. Never judges anyone before she knows them.
History: Born to the pack, Ameri was the daughter of the pack's former alpha female, who died a few years ago. She was dominant from the start, trying to be a good leader and attacking her siblings when they bossed her around. She grew up well, hunting good and enjoying life, even in the cold winters that grasped the forest. Soon, Ameri became a Beta, and once her mother passed away, she was the alpha female. The pack respected their new alpha, and she went well, untill the hunters came.
Other: She is the granddaughter of Kendara, the alpha female when Man first invaded the forest.
