Recontacted as our VM conversation got sidetracked and we forgot, and time zones are a pain in the ass.

You guys had the whole weekend to schedule the battle... it's a matter of finding 15 mins to play on a weekend.
I'll end the tournament now anyway. If you guys end up doing the battle I'll award the points to the winner afterwards.

First Ring of Fire Smash Bros. 3DS Tournament

Rules

  1. Game Settings: 3 Stocks, 8 Minute Time Limit, Best of 3 Games. Finals are Best of 5.
  2. Items are set to Off and None.
  3. All customization is banned.
  4. You may not choose any stage you have won on during a set, unless agreed by both players.
  5. A tie is determined by most stocks, and then if still tied, by percentage. If percentage is tied, the match is replayed with 1 Stock, 3 Minute Time Limit.
  6. Type "Ken-Combo" somewhere in your Sign-Up Form so I know you're read the rules.
  7. If a match is ended via suicide move, the initiator of the move wins, regardless of results screen.
  8. Matches are arranged between players in VM, so that I can view them. I will look over these messages.
  9. Matches are reported back here on the main thread. Both the winner and loser must report and confirm the match.
  10. Infractions of rules may result in auto-loss, nullification of match, or removal from the Tournament. The punishment will depend on severity of the offense and how many offenses a member has.

  1. Players each choose their own character.
  2. Players take turns removing stages from the Neutral Stages list above until one remains. The visitor (the person who joined the room) removes first.
  3. The players play the first match of the set.
  4. Players may choose to re-select characters.
  5. The loser of the last match chooses the stage to play on from the full Stage List.
  6. The next match is played.
  7. Repeat Steps 4 to 6 until set is complete.
