Friendly advice, please?

I reread the Author's Cafe Rules to see if there were anymore updates on this sort of topic. I didn't see anything about it, so I decided to make it. If this topic isn't allowed then I'll immediately delete it.

This is about an upcoming story that I'm still trying to decide to post during summer vacation, when I can manage two stories. Since I write to entertain, and improve, I want to know if the public is interested in this type of fanfiction.

It's about a Ditto that is inspired to become a musician after seeing Mozart's "Don Giovanni". The only problem is that people, in the Classical period, didn't believe Pokemon were capable of producing music.

It will have many ideas in it, about how Pokemon lived in the Classical period, and how they had Pokemon battles back then. (which may surprise you)

I also did heavy research about the Classical period, from what they wore to what they ate, in England. So, I want to make this as realistic as possible.

Anyone that has tips, and criticism, for me is welcome to post here.

So, is it about the Ditto composing music, or the Ditto taking the form of a human to compose music? Either way, it's pretty original, but you'd have to find a way to spruce up the era from which you're writing, since many readers might be a bit snored to hear about Mozart and the classical periods of music (personally, I like Mozart).

I agreed with Cheshire Cat. This seems to be a very good idea that has potential. The only problem is there will be some people who would rather read something with action then let's say, something that is not with Pokemon battles. Me personally, I liked classical music because it's very relaxing. See if you can make it a little more intresting to the other readers. Just wondering, how long will the story be? A few chapters perhaps?

Same thing as The Cheshire Cat and Bay said. It's a lovely idea, but my advice is that you may want to check if there were any PokeDex enteries that mentioned anything about any Pokemon being in that era. It'll probably help the story get more interesting, probably.

Both, actually. This will be one of the many eternal conflicts the Ditto will have.

The only problem is there will be some people who would rather read something with action then let's say, something that is not with Pokemon battles.

Pokemon battles won't be in the majority, in fact they will be rare. There are plenty of scenes of action, in the many side-plots that this story has.

That is execptional advice, like everyone gave me.

I don't babble on, and on, about information. If that is what your thinking. I may be misunderstanding. I put the information in subtle ways. There are also lots of shockers, thrillers, and side-plots. I don't want to ruin the story, so I'm not revealing any.
