Ripping Images from videos

How and with what program I could take images from videos/movies. I cannot really do by Alt+Print Screen with Windows Media Player and I can't get pics from Windows Movie Maker because the movie is in avi format.

Media Player Classic can do the job since you can capture snapshots using the Capture Picture or something like that command.

I recommend VideoLan player. All you have to do is stop it at the frame you want with it, then click Capture Screen. It saves them all to a specific directory.

Tools>Options>Performance
Set hardware acceleration to none, you should be able to take screenshots now.

For the mac users;

command + shift + 4

 

[Fiery Blaziken]

If it's Windows Media Player, press Crtl+I, it'll save an image.

That doesn't work for me. 0_0
