Rival Name?

What do u prefer to name your rival if you chose to pick own name for him?

I'm not quite sure if this thread already exists. I'm rather a bit lazy today to check. But I named my rival after one of my old friends, Clint.

Back when I was playing my cousins Yellow I randomly typed in a buch of random letters cause I thought I wouldn't get into it, but I did and now I name all my rivals that.

I usually name my rival one of the default names. I named my rival Lewis in Pearl version.

I usually name them one of the default names. Lack of creativity FTW.

Although, I have played through a game where their name was just "some guy".

"Some guy wants to battle!"
"You defeated Some guy!"

...and so on.

I usually name my rival whatever's in my head at the moment.
I think it's Pearl in them right now. Original, eh?

In FR/LG, I named my rival the name of my character in the other game. [EG: FR could be bob, and the rival in LG would be bob.]

I always name them after their Manga counterparts. But nowadays I'm naming them after 1 specific friend... I regard him as my rival sometimes.
