Jolly is overkill for hera when you can reach 264 Spd with adamant

Needs a rock resist

What would be better for Hera then? Adamant?

And Skarm has done pretty well with resisting rock moves enough. I know he can still take some decent damage from it, but I've faced several rock sliders (including an attack-boosted Marowak--I'm assuming with Thick Club--who slided Skarm and still didn't do a ton).

But is Rock Slide really that common? If so, who would you suggest I put in (and take out)?

go adamant on hera

the most common rock sliders are aero and tyranitar, and neither of them are countered by skarm. While Suicune can take them on to an extent, i'd recommend a sturdy ground type to help tyranitar, since cune gets 3HKO'd by a DD'd rock slide, and has no leftovers, plus the flinch factor

My cune has leftys. Should I switch it to chesto?

I think I'll put in a Donphan (spinner and quake, unless a CB set would be better?), maybe over heracross?

Beyond those, should I drop Roar on either Skarm or Suicune (since I have 2 phazers at the moment)? I was thinking Ice Beam on Suicune, but I don't know if taking Roar of him would be a good idea (switch he can't be switched in and out as easily as Skarm). And how do EVs look? Any particular stats I would want on these guys for the current metagame (like a speed on cune)?

EDIT: I forgot, how's the synergy looking? I know cune and Skarm go well together, but how bout the rest of the team? I know a ground type would be good. I'm thinking over heracross. Aero can sweep really well with the CB and makes a great starter, and I want to drop a physical sweeper to keep it 50/50.

UPDATE: Okay, switched Hera to Adamant (didn't change any EVs), but then temporarily took him out for the following Donphan:

Donphan (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Sturdy
EVs: 116 HP / 208 Atk / 116 Def / 70 SDef
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Earthquake
- Rapid Spin
- Rest
- Rock Slide

Should Rest stay, or should I go with Body Slam and CB? I'll try using him a bit...

The only thing I was worried about with Donphan is that all his attack types area already covered by Aero. Is that enough type coverage with just quake, HP rock, double edge/rapid spin, and HP flying? Hera was nice for killing psychics (specially zam if he already had salac boost). I'm just wondering cuz I don't know the current metagame standards (as I said before, have been out for over a year!).

If anyone remembers me (which I doubt), I used to be around here (I think my name was Ferilian) until my account got deleted/inaccessible. Anyways, I've finally made my return. I hope to get back into the metagame so I can compete and rate teams. Anyways, I just made a new NB team. I've tested it out a few times, and things went...okay. I won a few, but lost quite a few as well (about even). I know that part of the reason is that I've been out of the metagame for over a year now, so I don't know the standards right now (plus, I accidentally fought some uber-user). So, I was hoping for a rate. I think I'm okay on the movesets. What I need help with is EVs (for example, I don't know the "standard" speeds of pokes I need to outspeed) and general psynergy (will the team work together well, or do I have conflicting Pokemon/movesets--like 2 phazers). Thanks for any help!

Aerodactyl (M) @ Choice Band
Trait: Rock Head
EVs: 6 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Double-Edge
- Earthquake
- Hidden Power [Flying]
- Rock Slide
Adamant IMO, but w/e

Ludicolo (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Rain Dish
EVs: 116 HP / 132 Def / 30 SAtk / 232 SDef
Calm Nature (+SDef, -Atk)
- Ice Beam
- Leech Seed
- Rain Dance
- Surf
I find max HP better tbh. HP > defenses.

Suicune @ Leftovers
Trait: Pressure
EVs: 240 HP / 180 Def / 70 Spd / 20 SAtk
Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Calm Mind
- Rest
- Roar
- Surf
Ice Beam > Roar because you already have a phazer and you have a Salamence weak

Gardevoir (F) @ Leftovers
Trait: Synchronize
EVs: 96 HP / 118 Def / 216 Spd / 80 SAtk
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Calm Mind
- Psychic
- Thunderbolt
- Will-O-Wisp
Modest since Gardy's base 80 Speed isn't gonna let it outspeed that much.
Then, you can strip off some Speed EVs (I still run 240 just to outrun stuff like Breloom), give it some more defenses and a healthy dose of SAtk EVs

Donphan (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Sturdy
EVs: 116 HP / 208 Atk / 116 Def / 70 SDef
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Earthquake
- Rapid Spin
- Rest
- Rock Slide
K

Skarmory (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Sturdy
EVs: 196 HP / 40 Atk / 216 Def / 58 Spd
Impish Nature (+Def, -SAtk)
- Drill Peck
- Rest
- Roar
- Spikes
EVs: 252 HP / 64 Atk / 192 Def. You can sacrifice some Atk for Spd/SDef if you want
Raikou weak from my standpoint.

What's a good Raikou counter (although, haven't seen him much so is he really something to worry about?), and who should they replace?

And I think I'll stick with Donphan. Gardevoir had Timid for D-bonding on its old set, which is no longer an issue, so I'll go Modest.

And lastly, since I'll be putting Ice Beam on Suicune, is Giga Drain a good replacement on Ludicolo (over Ice Beam)? It'll leave him vulnerable to grass/flying, but might help take out any Swampert I encounter.

And new EV spread for Gardevoir:
96 HP / 118 Def / 96 Spd / 200 SAtk. Has 301 HP, 220 Spd, and 369 SAtk (Modest).

Thanks for all the help!

That works.
Psych Up Steelix ftw =)

Steelix (M) @ Leftovers ** GOLD!!
Trait: Sturdy
EVs: 252 HP / 80 Atk / 176 SDef
Impish Nature (+Def, -SAtk)
- Earthquake
- Psych Up
- Roar
- Rock Slide

Gardy doesn't need that much Def imo.

Ludicolo counters Pert as it stands, so there isn't really a need for Giga Drain or HP Grass, but you could.

If I go with that Steelix, is it alright if I drop Donphan for Heracross/someone else?
