Aerodactyl@Choice Band
Trait: Rock Head
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Jolly (+Spd, -SPAtk)
- Earth Quake
- Stone Edge
- Double Edge
- Aerial Ace
Starmie@Choice Specs
Trait: Natural Cure
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SPAtk / 252 Spd
Timid (+Spd, -Atk)
- Surf
- Ice Beam
- Thunderbolt
- Rapid Spin/Grass Knot
Two pokemon with the same idea behind them. Both can be leads too, though I might go with Aerodactyl because of his greater speed. Also, on Starmie, I'm not sure if I should go with Rapid Spin or Grass Knot. Rapid Spin is good for support but it might be hard to do with Choice Specs.
Skarmory@Shed Skin
Trait: Keen Eye
EVs: 252 HP / 64 Atk / 192 Def
Impish (+Def, -SPAtk)
- Drill Peck/Spikes
- Stealth Rock
- Whirlwind
- Roost
Standard Skarm. Not sure if I should go with Spikes or Drill Peck. I don't want to get screwed over by Taunt but Spikes is so tempting.
Umbreon@Leftovers
Trait: Synchronize
EVs: 252 HP / 176 Def / 80 SPDef
Calm (+SPDef, -Atk)
- Mean Look
- Yawn
- Protect
- Baton Pass
This can be a great annoyer. Trap the opponent, put it to sleep, then switch to a counter. It can also wall well, I guess. I just hope this works well in practice.
Ludicolo@Big Root
Trait: Rain Dish
EVs: 204 HP / 52 SPAtk / 252 SPDef
Calm (+SPDef, -Atk)
- Rain Dance
- Leech Seed
- Giga Drain
- Toxic
Annoyer and Special Wall. The only problem is it has nothing to block the opponent, so Leech Seed might not be that effective. Still, if it forces a switch, it's a free turn for Toxic'ing the pokemon coming in.
Swampert@Leftovers
Trait: Torrent
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 SPDef
Careful (+SPDef, -SPAtk)
- Curse
- Avalanche
- Hammer Arm
- Earthquake/Waterfall
I really don't know if this set is going to work. If Swarmpert is going to always go second, I want it to be able to survive a hit. Curse should theoretically raise its defense enough to survive while raising its attack stat. I'm maxing SPDef so that it can go out against special users too. Also, I'll be using its ground type to counter electric attacks. 3 of my pokemon on this team are weak to lightning, I need something to resist it.
Anyways, I'd like to know how well I've done...Constructive criticisism is appreciated.
