I honestly don't like Pidgeot or Mr. Mime at all, but they've worked so far...
And I can't find a better Grass type than Venusaur.
And for hold items....I'm completely at a loss. Help please?

Would Electabuzz be any better than Raichu?

Replace either wing attack or fly with return and feather dance with steel wing. If I'm correct, the oppoments will not switch their pokemon (This game is fire red, so BF's not included) . The only attacks that can hit pidgeot while it's flying are gust, twister, thunder and sky uppercut. Not many pokemon uses them though.

BTW get rid of frenzy plant for venusaur

Charizard isn't that good a physical sweeper, so he's going to need all the power he can get. Overheat / Fire Blast goes with Adamant and Flamethrower goes with Lonely. Dragon Dance if you want a speed increase, but Swords Dance is better.

Bold goes with Counter, Calm with Mirror Coat. Rest is there to recover HP.

- Sludge Bomb

Sassy if you're using a grass move instead of Synthesis.

Sub blocks status effects, stat lowering moves and Leech Seed. Barrier ups the defense, and T-Bolt for extra attacking capability. Sub can be BP as well.
