Imo forretress sucks without spikes and I think steelix is a better canditate for physical wall.

Why do you say that? I've found that Forretress works just fine without spikes... It's not necessary. I've been thinking about finding a usable set.

Rapid Spin
Hidden Power Ghost
Counter
Rock Slide

Rock Slide fliers out of the sky, and when facing spikes teams, predict the Ghost switch in and HP Ghost it. Rapid Spin later to remove spikes. Counter makes it so things like Snorlax and Swampy don't beat Forry.

use HP Grass on Magneton

1) Forry is uncommon, Skarm and Cloyster are used more
2) Swampert will take a **** on your whole team given the chance
3) Thunderbolt does enough to Forry, and most Forrys use HP Bug/Spikes/Spin/Explode anyway

Edit: at the above forry

Rock Slide doesn't do enough, and the main switch in will be Salamence meaning that Rock Slide will do **** unless you use Max Attack and Adamant.

Hp Ghost is novelty and pretty poitnless on the whole, it wouldn't even ohko Gengar, and would barely 3hko Dusclops, which will Wisp yo anyway

Snorlax will curse six times on you then ohko with Body slam unless you have absolute max defence and max hp and norlax hits for minimum damage, and Swampert will just Surf / Hydro Pump you anyway, and a lot of Snorlax use Fire Blast

Swampert wants 401 HP/280 Def to prevent Tyranitar and friends from crapping all over your team.
