I hope this will help to keep the usual starters at bay. I've been informed that most people will be running something like: Kyogre/Kingdra, Groudon/Shiftry, or Mewtwo/Rayquaza.

Double-u tee eff?

Show your natures so people could help. since this is competitive, don't use scope lens for alakazam. se lum berry if it has synchronize or Petaya for more special. for metagross, use something like lum berry.

Is substitute any good in 2v2 environ?

Er I don't do 2vs2 and I just realised this is what it was for @_@

Thus my post was quite useless :p

I suppose protect could work on it, I don't know :x

Is it likely that I'm going to run into a lot of low IV ubers? What I mean is, I'm obviously going to see groudon/kyogre/mewtwo at some point, but it stands to reason that they won't necessarily have ideal Stats, right?

How much of a difference does that make? If i have a team of pokemon that I've raised to have better than average IV's, they should have more of a chance. This sounds logical to me, that's why I wanted to make this team.

Oh, I think I'll edit another pokemon, I'll edit this too when I have decided.

Lost but Seeking
Actually, a lot of people Shark in the competitive environment. They pretty much get away with it unless they're stupid, because nothing will be detected unless they make a stupid error (program in a pokemon caught on an impossible route, or impossible stats, etc). Therefore, seriously competitive players will Shark better-than-average to perfect IV's and not get caught. So don't expect too much quarter in that respect, from the serious players at least.

I'd go for fake out on ludicolo if possible; since a lot of groudon/kyogre play endure + salac for exploders, you can swap in on a loss and take them out before they make trouble. It's a generally useful move otherwise, as it can do such things as screw over exploders by putting them out of sync with their partner's protect.

Jolteon is way fragile, here, as you'll undoubtedly be seeing a lot of EQ. Roar is pretty much not going to do anything, as Jolteon won't last to see it come to fruition. I would suggest an HP here, but of course this is ingame.

Psychic on metagross doesn't cover anything in this environment; you'd be better off running it as a true physical sweeper and definitely going with shadow ball for the mewtwos, latis, and gengars you'll be seeing.

Gengar is pretty, erm, no. IMO the liechi boost from endure over protect for his sole phsyical attack, explosion, is not going to be worth it. Again, psychic covers nothing, so why not take advantage of STAB shadow ball? Mewtwo is faster than this, but it might work anyway. Consider also skill swapping to gross; it means more or less sacrificing gengar, but at least gives meta a chance as long as they're not running a FT mewtwo in the sun.

Dusclops, eh, whatever...

Light screen and reflect on alakazam are pretty much a deathwish for the bugger. Not going to let it survive.

I hope you're ready to say hello to EQ, because the only thing you have to resist it at the moment is your ludicolo. Dusclops will probably get beaten to death before it can imprison if you're facing a good player, IMO. Snorlax and any other special wall is also partying at the prospect of this. At the moment you've not got much on mewtwo since he outruns more or less all of this and can handle it all in stride or with the help of his partner. You're sort of okay against explosion but most ubers are just going to beat on this team until it rolls over and dies.

Wow, thank you for such a good reply. I really appreciate that. The fake-out idea is tops. I'll look into that.

Jolteon's a no-go, got it. and I'll reconsider some other options.

Thank you again for helping me. It's too bad that a serious player, such as myself is going to have to worry about people sharking the stats they need instead of actually raising a proper pokemon. Bah, Guess it comes with the territory.

I'll update again this evening to see what I can do to help improve this team.
