Allison Green - Day 1
Vitality Points: 95
Psyche Points: 68
Condition: Hungry

Allison opened her eyes wearily. She only had vague memories of how she’d even gotten to the rest room, considering her little breakdown after the torture from yesterday.

Sitting up, she held a hand to her throat and took a deep breath. The torture had certainly taken it’s toll. Now to add to her list of fears were drowning and suffocating. She wasn’t sure she’d ever be able to go anywhere without fear of hurting her throat again.

The little trinket around her neck finished its soothing little melody and went silent, and Allison smiled slightly.

A remote controlled cart came in, loaded with breakfast foods and a mysterious box. She decided she did not want to touch it. She didn’t want any more silly business after yesterday.

As far as food went, she was famished. Normally she wasn’t incredibly hungry in the morning, but she did get the sense knocked out of her the night before.

She took a plate of French toast and a glass of milk, pleasantly surprised that is was one of her favorite breakfasts. Something simple. Something that she could make if she didn’t have to go to work early in the morning.

She looked across at Veronica, who was still asleep. Considering how much effort she’d put into the cracking the code the day before, she should at least have a little more sleep. She deserved it, for getting them the Emerald Key, apparently guaranteeing everyone’s safety. She wasn’t sure she trusted the challenge master, but she supposed that was to be expected, considering all the things that they had done.

Benedict and Jordon continued chatting, it felt much like an average day again; those average days where Benedict didn’t have school and Jordon didn’t have to work. Benedict grinned and moved closer to Jordon on the bed, he was honestly just happy he wasn’t here alone, he was happy he had Jordon to help him through everything.

“Remember your superhero room back when we first met?” Jordon asked, causing Benedict to laugh and nod. When they had first met in high school, Benedict had brought Jordon to his house for the two of them to hang out, once they got to the bedroom; the Avenger’s sheets were the only thing they could talk about. He sighed, those were certainly better days.

Benedict turned his head slightly, speaking sudden aloud. “If I went crazy here, would you still care about me?” He asked, Jordon looked slightly surprised and looked back at him.

“Of course... although I won’t let that happen.” Replied Jordon with a smile, Benedict smiled back. He was still slightly worried about them getting separated however. But his thoughts were interrupted by two remote controlled cart coming into the room. Each was cluttered in breakfast foods, and each had a mysterious and sinister looking box placed on it.

Benedict grinned slightly and dug into his immediately, eating some sunny side up eggs and a bit of bacon. Jordon smirked and followed, stuffing some fried ham into his mouth. As they ate, Benedict couldn’t help but glance at his box, wondering what was inside.

Dexter finished his breakfast and felt very much at ease. He saw Mandy pick up the box. No doubt in every other room, someone was eyeing the box with interest, wariness or suspicion. Nevertheless, it began playing a rather haunting version of pop goes the weasel.

Dexter gulped a bit. When the song ended, out popped out a rather disturbing sight. It was the mutilated head of a baby... well baby dolll honestely. It obviously looked fake but the mutilations were still disturbing. To make it even worse, one of the most disturbing sounds was played.

The loud, desperate and heart-wrenching crying of a crack baby.

Dexter covered his ears and shuddered, remembering when he first heard the sound during those anti-drug videos in high school and how creeped out he was. This, combined with the ugly looking baby doll head, took a toll on him and everyone else, some more than others.

Everyone was creeped out.

After a minute of the nightmarish wail, the sounds stopped to the relief of everyone. They saw a folded note slip out. Dexter wearily picked it up and read it.

"~I hope you enjoyed the wake-up call!

Now get out there and have a ball!~"

Dexter sighed as he realized they had a long day ahead of them. He grabbed Mandy, who he saw had a grip on the security blanket and went through the hall to look at the doors. Which one?

As Mandy turned the box over in her hands it started to emit a sound, specifically a song, more specifically, Pop Goes the Weasel. Creepy, just like everything else about this place. So there was a speaker or something in the box?

The song came to an end and the box popped open. Out popped a creepy mutilated baby doll, crying painfully. Mandy shrieked, throwing the mutilated doll in the box away from herself. It took her a moment to calm down enough to tell herself it was just a doll. That was when the nervous laughter set in. It made her feel better, but it probably didn’t do anything to help Dexter’s nerves.

Dexter read the note from his box:
“I hope you enjoyed the wake-up call! Now get out there and have a ball!”

“Heh,” chuckled Mandy, “He thinks he’s clever just because he can make a rhyme.”

She tied the security blanket around her neck like a cape as Dexter led her out of the room. He seemed to be selecting a door for their next horror. Blindly choosing their fate.

“Right,” she suggested, remembering a random fact she’d once read, “people being chased tend to turn Left, we should go Right.”

Allison Green - Day 2

Condition: Scared

Finishing her breakfast, Allison sighed. It seemed almost too perfect, considering how the madman had treated them before.

Staring at the box, she hesitantly reached out and poked it. It began to play a far scarier version of pop goes the weasel. She sat back, equally fascinated and disturbed. She wasn’t sure she was ready for what would happen at the end.

At the end, a horribly mutilated baby doll popped out of the box. Allison shrieked. It looked so horrifying and disgusting. And when it cried out in a painful, tortured way, she shrieked again and kicked the box to the other side of the room. She held her head in her hands and shook it, trying to block out the nightmarish wailing. It was like torture. And seeing as she’d been tortured the day before, she knew exactly what it felt like.

Finally, it ended. She shook a little, and noticed the note on the floor. Cautiously, she picked it up.

"~I hope you enjoyed the wake-up call!

Now get out there and have a ball!~"

She shook. This person was mad. Completely and utterly bonkers. Giving them a wake-up call like that. She mumbled some curses under her breath and sighed. Obviously today was going to be a long day.

Benedict scooped the last couple of eggs off of his plate and into the garbage, he wasn’t as hungry as he once though... he thought it might be because of what he had been witness to in the last couple of days. Jordon had already taken more food, and was finishing it as Benedict came back to sit by him on the bed. Jordon picked up his box and eyed it in his hands, wondering what could possibly be contained inside.

“What do you think it is?” Asked Jordon as he twisted it around in his hands. Part of Benedict really didn’t want to know, but another part of him actually itched in wonder.

“Only one way to find out... right?” Squeaked out Benedict in his accent. Jordon nodded slowly, suddenly, the box began to play a rather haunting and distorted version of pop goes the weasel. Benedict gulped, that was slightly disturbing, he’d give it that.

Suddenly, the music came to a close. A mutated head of a baby popped out... well not a real baby, but rather a doll. It gave one of the most, haunting, chilling screeches that Benedict and Jordon had ever heard. Benedict screeched in shock, covering his ears to block out the sound. Jordon tried breaking the head, giving it a few punches.

The screaming finally stopped and a note popped out, it read;

"~I hope you enjoyed the wake-up call!

Now get out there and have a ball!~"

Jordon ripped up the note, grabbing his belongings and dragging Benedict out of the room behind him. The two continued down the red hall, looking for what their next challenge would be.

Veronica snapped awake letting loose a colorful series of expletives and swears as a piercing scream breached the comfort of her dreams. But once she saw the doll head she let out a shriek of terror and threw her pillow at it and when that missed she hid under her covers trying to drown out the noise until it finally stopped.

She wouldn't go near it. Activated or deactivated that thing sent chills up her spine and she refused to approach the disfigured doll head. With the covers clutched tightly in her hands she peered over the top of them and watched as Allison retrieved the note. And that was it. No more jumps or surprises. Feeling more at ease Veronica lowered the covers and gave a soft smile as she looked at Allison, trying to regain her cool after being awoken by some hellish Satan-baby. "Good morning." She mumbled sarcastically.

Then she smelled it. Breakfast! "Yo, you didn't tell me we had a kickin' breakfast!" Veronica flew from her bed now oblivious to the doll as she made a dash for the meal prepared for them. She grabbed the cart and pulled it to the closest bed where she sat and began shoveling pancakes and eggs off of their trays and into her mouth, sans plate. "Y'know for a viscous psycho he cooks some pretty good s***!" Then she paused and looked at the food in hesitation. "You don't think he'd, like, poison this or anything, do you?"

Dexter turned to Mandy and tightened the grip on her hand. He was starting to really worry about her. She was starting to really lose it. Dexter looked through the hall and been wondering what torment they would have to go through this time.

The next room they went in was rather simple just a large TV and a plush sofa. Not much else was here. When the others would arrive, they would in a similiar location. Dexter wondered what they could possibly watch that could freak them out like this. Unless it was someone coming out to attack and get them...

The screen then flashed at them.

"CONGRATULATIONS! Thanks to the efforts of Allison and Veronica, you no longer have to worry about dying! Their efforts have won them the Emerald Key, guaranteeing your safety!" The TV said as fanfare played.

Dexter let himself smile as he realized that things may come out all right after all.

Everyone was relieved.

Dexter squeezed Mandy’s hand caringly as he lead her into the next room. There was just a TV and a comfy looking couch. Mandy was suspicious of it, it looked hungry to her.

The TV came on:
"CONGRATULATIONS! Thanks to the efforts of Allison and Veronica, you no longer have to worry about dying! Their efforts have won them the Emerald Key, guaranteeing your safety!"

What!?! Yes? Really? Awesome.

Mandy fumbled for the couch. It’s got to be a trick.

"As a tribute to their courage, here is a video tributing to their greatness!"

Footage rolled. A montage of horror, as Allison and Veronica endured a horrible fate. Mandy cowered, clutching the end of the blanket tied around her neck. Who would do such a thing? Nervous giggles.

"And now for something interesting... Write down the one thing and I mean thing as object that would give you a powerful sense of comfort," screamed the disembodied voice as they were strapped to the couch.

“No,” cried Mandy, “no, no, no, not again, no.”

Tablets came out of the couch arms. They were supposed to type in an answer. Mandy couldn’t think of anything. Her mind was blank. Well, almost, she was terrified of being electrocuted again, and there was a nagging desire for tacos. Focus. Comfort? What would make her feel safer now?

Benedict and Jordon continued down the red hallway, the floor around them was starting to give them the creeps, due to it’s bloodlike hue. Jordon saw a door, it seemed pretty normal when he peered into it, just a couch and a large tv. Nothing really out of the ordinary, Jordon thought it could even be another rest room.

“I don’t like this Jordon...” Murmured Benedict. Jordon gently ran his fingers over Benedict’s hand; as if to say that it was okay. Benedict nodded shyly at the touch, and they both sat next to each other on the small couch. It really felt like home.

Suddenly the screen flashed.

"CONGRATULATIONS! Thanks to the efforts of Allison and Veronica, you no longer have to worry about dying! Their efforts have won them the Emerald Key, guaranteeing your safety!"

Benedict almost cried out in happiness, happy that they didn’t have to fret about dying, things were definitely looking up for the duo, Benedict could almost feel the fresh air of them breaking free.

"As a tribute to their courage, here is a video tributing to their greatness!"

Benedict and Jordon were forced to watch as the girls were bound and gagged, getting buckets of water dumped on them. Benedict cowered in fear, not wanting to see anymore. Jordon watched, clutching Benedict’s thigh, trying to maintain his composure.

Once the video ended, the disembodied voice spoke again:

"And now for something interesting... Write down the one thing and I mean thing as object that would give you a powerful sense of comfort," Suddenly, similar to in the kitchen, they were strapped to the couch. Tablets appeared next to them, giving them the ability to write.

Jordon immediately grabbed for his pen, writing ‘Cell phone’ in messy printing. Being able to phone for help, get this madman arrested, and get out of here were the only things on Jordon’s mind.

He saw Benedict hesitate, not sure what to put. The smaller man was trying to think, his brain buzzing. He said.. object? Like a blanket, or a music player, or candy.... Benedict’s mind was jumbled, trying to think of something.

“Ben come on... please just write something! Anything!” Cried Jordon, not wanting to see Benedict get hurt in any way.

“I-I can’t think of anything...” Whispered Benedict, moving to pick up the pen. His mind was still blank, unable to think of anything.

After Veronica had eaten her breakfast, the two of them had headed into the next room, Allison clutching the little music locket tightly. She certainly needed no more torture. Ever.

It was a pretty plain room, with a couch and a TV. She sat down cautiously, not sure she could trust it.

The TV turned on, saying, “CONGRATULATIONS! Thanks to the efforts of Allison and Veronica, you no longer have to worry about dying! Their efforts have won them the Emerald Key, guaranteeing your safety!"

Allison allowed herself to smile. Obviously the two of them weren’t the only ones seeing it. It was probably being showed to the other teams.

The fanfare played, before the TV continued. "As a tribute to their courage, here is a video tributing to their greatness!"

Oh no.

On the TV was shown a recording of the torture from last night. Allison shook her head violently, refusing to watch the stupid screen. She did not need to see it again. Never ever.

"And now for something interesting..." Suddenly, she was strapped onto the couch, just like in the dining room. She cried out, and grumbled. Never trust furniture in this house.

"Write down the one thing and I mean thing as object that would give you a powerful sense of comfort," The voice said as on the sides of them were tablets to write it down.

Allison picked up the pen and tried to focus. Her thought process had changed so much since the day before.

Thing as in object? So she couldn’t wish for comfort, or her family? She could certainly wish for the million dollars though, surely. Technically that was an object. But that wouldn’t make her comfortable. Just make her nervous.

What to do what to do.

It hit her. She knew what she wanted.

Dexter saw what Mandy wrote down and grew concerned. He knew that this madman would probably electrocute anyone who did not give a satisfying answer. Dexter wrote down something for Mandy.

'Comforting Teddy Bear'

He hoped the game master wouldn't get them for that. Dexter waited for what the sadistic game master had planned for them. Dexter held his breath as the mic came on to annouce.

"Well, I have to say. You guys are kinda of a disappointing bunch. I give you guys away to heal yourselves psychologically, but most of you mess it up. I suppose I will have to take some form of pity on you. For those of you who answered correctyl... congrats," the voice said.

Veronica got a box of her favorite candies and Allison got a replica of her violin with a note. "Couldn't get the real thing. It might have gotten damaged"

Dexter helped Mandy out and they proceeded to exit the room. They ented the next room, which was appaently a lunch room. There was a prepared lunch of their favorite foods for them.

Security Blanket, Knight Teddy Bear

Mandy looked expectantly at the TV. Her answer was good. No, it wasn’t a voice from the TV scolded her and familiar sensation surged through her. She yelped in pain from being electrocuted. The pain was brief and the damage minimal, but she couldn’t take it anymore and started to cry.

Gift boxes fell down from the ceiling onto them. Mandy tried to wipe the tears away with her sleeve, giggling manically again, the tears keep flowing again.. She tugged open her box. Rip off, it was totally empty.

As she stared blankly into the box something bumped her. She looked up, Dexter was handing her a teddy bear dressed as a knight. Letting her box fall onto the floor she took the knight bear.

Since the couch had released them, Dexter pulled Mandy onward to the next room. Lunch was laid out for them. Was it really time to eat again already, wondered Mandy as she stroked the fur on the bear’s neck, it’s head being in a helmet.

She wasn’t going to sit at that table.

Dexter convinced her to eat something and when everyone finished eating, they felt prepared to go. The food did taste differently, a bit better than normal. Reason being is they were not drugged.

The next room that the people could go and enter was a giant wheel. Each slot were blank though or there was a slight feeling of which one was good and which ones are bad.

"All right! Time to test your luck! Spin the wheel and win a prize for your own companion!" The voice stated. Suddenly, Mandy, Veronica and Benedict were trapped in under a giant cup.

"Will you get a hammer? Will you get something else? Will you get both? Who knows?! SPIN!" the voice said.

Dexter sighed as he spun something and hoped for the best
