Routes-

I was thinking.
I think that Nintendo left out the routes between G/S/C for a reason (I know your thinking, "Nah, Really?)
Well, I was thinking, since they were making remakes, The G/S/C remake may feature the orange Islands, which would make up the lost routes.

If there is already a topic, tell me and I`ll close it.

I think the reason they didn`t make OA in G/S/C was because they already addedd Kanto, and that woulda been to much.

Plus, up till now, the islands wouldn`t have looked to good.

Though a remake of G/S/C is improbable having the Orange Archipelago in the remake game would be nice... it might explain the missing routes.

I'd like a G/S/C remake, as long as it's not like Fr/Lg (for ex. Teachy TV treating us like we're idiots, censorship or the horrible remixed music). But it won't be necessary, so it won't happen.

OK. Where to begin?

1. Johto is not underrated. I find it is overrated amongst the community. What exactly did the region offer to make it stand out above Kanto or Hoenn? Don't say Pokemon genders/breeding/Apricorns/shinies or whatever else because they were introduced by Gold/Silver and not Johto. They would've occured if the second gen occured in Kanto all over again...

2. There will not be a Johto remake. Lather, rinse and repeat. There will not be a Johto remake. You'll all say "You don't know that!!!11" but it wouldn't make sense for there to be remakes. FRLG only came about because we needed a way to access the Pokemon left out of RS and revisiting Kanto worked well because it meant they didn't have to worry too much about designing an entirely new region nor did they have to rework Hoenn, considering they'd have to do it again with Emerald anyway. We won't need a remake to access the previous Pokemon not found in Shinou as DP will be backwards compatible and seeing as though we can get a full Pokedex (minus Mew, Celebi, Jirachi and Deoxys) in the GBA games, we can just trade over the others to fill our Pokedex.

3. The Orange Islands saga was just something to tide us over until GS were finalised and released. The anime was going to continue and they didn't want to reveal anything about Johto so they made up a new side quest for Ash to complete. It was certainly better than needlessly drawing out a region. Look what they did with Johto when they were waiting for RuSa to be finished. Weren't we all just sitting there thinking "Is this done yet?"
