The weather has been dull lately, nothing but grey skies, cold winds and damp mornings. Everywhere you go people are either sneezing, complaining about how much weight they put on over Christmas, or grumbling about the weather. You get home, narrowly avoiding an incoming shower only to find a strange green envelope waiting for you. Your name is written on the front, and as you break open the wax seal on the reverse, a faint smell of freshly cut grass wafts under your nose. Inside is one ticket, and a list of instructions.

Instructions for all attending guests​

Following on from October of 2005, four Annual Balls will take place, encompassing special days and events where members of the RPG Forum can mingle and have fun. As the Spring Ball officially starts during February, it will begin with an affectionate celebration of Valentines. As such, you are expected to follow one of the following two options.

Option A

You attend the ball as one half of a couple. You come as you are, a real person here to interact with others from the forum, but you must ask another member to be your date. Creating an original character for this is not prohibited, you must come as yourself. Couples can be of any gender pairings.

Option B

You attend the ball as a duo, an originally created couple whom you use to interact with others. You do not ask anyone else, instead you control both sides of the partnership. Couples can be of any gender pairings.


As Valentines Day is about couples, the ticket does not allow entry for any plus ones. Pokemon trainers are asked to leave their pokemon with a Care Centre (respectable centres can be found on the reverse of this form), and anyone else who are accompanied must come alone.

The organisers request that both parties are smartly dressed. Common clothes will not be acceptable. Due to Health and Safety issues, only Humans will be allowed to attend the Spring Ball. Sorry for the inconvenience if you are not, but please look forward to the Summer Ball in June.

The Valentine Ball will run through most of February, after that, the Ball will become a regular event, and couples can choose to stay together or mingle. The Spring Ball will come to an end in April, and Easter will be celebrated in the form of a great pie fight.

The Ball organisers must ask that any greviences and grudges be left at the door. No fighting will be permitted during the ball, unless it is a pre-arranged exhibition match. Heavy petting is also strongly advised against, unless done in privacy and out the eyes of others.

The Ball itself will take place in the RPG Cafe Forum.​

Description: He's the normal height for his age, thin, with strong legs, dark eyes and dark-brown long hair, arranged in a small ponytail for the occasion. He wears a long, relaxed black suit with thin silver stripes at the arms.
Personality: Alex is a kind, happy fellow always with a smile on his face. He has a great sense of humour, and sometimes, nothing can snap him out of his good mood. He is fast to get to the point, and he hates doing it the long way when he can just jump to the case. He doesn't like waiting for long spans of time.

Age: 21

Description: Kayla is a hair short of her age with a smooth, kind face adorned with a pair of silver-grey eyes. She wears a light blue dress which stops right under her knees with silver-coloured gloves. Her long brown hair flows down the backside of the dress with small sapphires in it.

Personality: Kayla is Alex' partner and very professional at work. Her true personality though is happy and with a great sense of humour that fits with Alex' nicely. She likes to know everything around her and is very organised. She is easily fooled, but never gets angry 'cause of a joke.

Other: They're both assassins, which is their buisness ( bet you never guessed that, no? ).
