OK, I was in either Pitfall Valley or Northern Range (I forget), and recruited a Hoppip. 5 minutes later I bid farewell to it. And why? Because the damn thing kept using Synthesis every 3 or 4 steps! Even when it ran out of PP, all I'd see in the message box was "The move Synthesis can't be used! The move Synthesis can't be used!" And on and on and on. It got so frustrating.

Has anyone else enountered anything similar? This happened with a Kadabra with Recover in Solar Cave too, but I was close enough to the exit to not get too annoyed.

Make it so it wont use it. Go to its moves and deselect it. Easy

That's why I switch off moves on certain Pokémon. Their stupidity can really get annoying

I had that problem, I was escorting a Slaking,OMG, it would stop every freaking second using Slack Off.

You can switch the move off. But with escorts it's different. The Vileplume I had to escort kept using Aromatherapy even though all the PP was used up. You can't switch off an escort's move. -_-"
