rubbish UU team [link battles]

i'm planning on building a team in this vein in-game, for link battles mainly. some of the EV spreads are probably pretty stupid/simplistic, but i can fix them if/when i get emerald. the natures and traits i'm stuck with unfortunately [well, i bred for decent ones and they're the best i can get].

Slowking@Leftovers
Trait: Oblivious
Brave nature
EVs 252 att, 252 hp ...
-curse
-earthquake
-return
-rest
gogo curseking. [tempted to give it s.d. evs for thunderbolts]

Gorebyss@leftovers
Trait: Swift Swim
timid nature
Evs 252 spd, 252 sp.att ...
-surf
-psychic
-agility
-baton pass
speed passer [mainly for pory]. [edited due to feeling i might as well make a decision]

Golem@choice band
Trait: Rock Head
adamant nature
EVs 252 att, 129 def, 129 hp [?]
-double edge
-earthquake
-rock blast[/rock slide]
-explosion
rock slide is only if i can get my hands on an emerald cart...

Misdreavus@leftovers
trait: levitate
jolly nature
Evs 252 spd, 252 hp ...
-mean look
-perish song
-taunt
-protect

Porygon2@leftovers
Trait: trace
modest nature
EVs 252 sp. att, 129 sp.def, 129 hp
-thunderbolt
-ice beam
-thunder wave
-recover

Banette@leftovers
trait: insomnia
adamant nature
EVs 252 att, 252 spd, 6 hp
-shadow ball
-return
-knock off
-will o wisp

cheers, rmt.

[EDIT: does the team need a heal beller? if so, i have the worst one :D ]
Chimecho@leftovers
trait: levitate
timid nature
EVs 252 spd, whatever
-psychic
-heal bell
-safeguard
-yawn

252/129/129 sets fail

UU also isn't that good of a choice for link battles btw

Curse king isn't that good =/
You should refrain from using the same types(2 waters, 2 ghosts)
and if you're looking for a healer Vileplume screams the name
but the standard Manectric gives the team problems..

i stated in my first post that i was aware of how simplistic some, if not all of the EV spreads were. do you have any positive suggestions as to how to change them?
and since i'm not going to be playing insanely competitively, i'd rather use a team of pokes that i use in game and am aware of their capabilities and limitations than the identikit OU teams that are everywhere. not meaning to bash them... [i'm hardly in a position to do so]

edited. i knew that already. hehe. and i'm disinclined to use something else considering all the effort i put in to posting a request for a breeding chain for those moves on here.

right you are. missy will be ditched. not yet sold on ditching the king considering his insane S.Def means he might actually survive stuff; and the team as a whole needs speed from somewhere. but having 3 grass weaks in the team is pretty bad. oh well.

*shudders at the thought of having to catch one of the millions of annoying oddishes and actually training it*
hmmm, right you are. uhm. looking at it the team kinda needs a (P)hazer or something, and/or a spiker/spinner.

i think i may as well give up on this team for a while until i can come up with something with a better balance to it. cheers for your comments guys.

[i should probably put a warning in my posts that i like using inferior pokes tho. especially slowking, it would seem from reading through this post]

Well this is ingame comeptitive battling so most manectrics won't have hp grass/ice/water.

Well since he is treating it like a competitive team by using UU pokemon.
As will I by telling him the competitive UU counters ;_;

Then again since this is ingame the 252/252 spreads are really all thats needed like 252 hp/252 spattack Porygon2 does good enough..

Smogon.com is the way to go.

the main problem i have with smogon is that due to my n00bness i can't work out which EVs refer to which stat, like this:

Configuration

Modest

228 / 174 / 108

Porygon2 is OU, anyway.
