Ruby Question

He i was just wondering something about Ruby. Its probably been answered before but i'll ask it anyway. Why is his real hair color? I thought it was white but now that i really look at it, the head band and white part look like a hat, like some sort of ski cap ya now them funky ones? Is he ever seen without his hat on?

He took off his hat before, I don't remember the colour but I guess it's dark like Norman's.

His hair is black. It looks alot like Norman's. I think there's a picture of it at the Nekun site.

Scroll down on this page, and you can see Ruby without his hat on. His hair style is a toss up between Norman and his mother, with Norman's general shape and colour, and the two antenna like thingies at the back like his mother.

Thanks for answering my question. I forgot he was Norman's son, coulda figured his hair was like Normans. Thats a nasty looking scar hes got. That Salamence messed him up. I think its kinda weird they made May(Sapphire) Normans daughter in the anime when hes Ruby's father in the manga. Maybe thats why they never had him show up in the anime. Except for the one short appearence he made in the beginning of movie 6.

I think he wears the hat to hide his scars that he got from Salamence not because of his hair style.

The manga and anime are to completely different things. While one may draw an influence from the other on a particular occasion (such as Makuhita evolving during Brawly's gym match), the two are not related in any way. So the reason he has not shown up is not because of his manga relation to Norman, but probably because the writers haven't found a use for him (and wasn't his cameo the beginning of movie 7?).

I always assumed he'd have a hair style similar to Normans, or something SO outrageous that it would be funny (kind of like Kyle's hair on South Park is bizzare)

i think ruby's hairstyle is pretty cool how it's similar to his mum and his dad's.
Shame he has to wear a hat to cover his scar though cause his hair's pretty cool

Kyle Andrew is right his hair is alot like Norman's and he where's a hat to cover his scar from childhood.
