Ruby Vs. Sapphire!

Which game do you like better, ruby or sapphire? Which pokemon do you like better, ;383; or ;382; ?

Personally I think saphire is best. But only through Bias. They are both pretty much the same, apart from the obvious pokemon difference and displays.

Kyogre if they battled would win, and kyogre is my fav to

That isnt really true, that is if the groudon>kyogre, but going by type etc. kyorge would win, non biased, ruby is harder than sapphire by the elite four (thats if you use G/K) because kyogre has got more E4 smashing moves...

I like sapphire more, lotads>seedots ; lunatone>solrock and kyogre>groundon>rayquaza

the only thing that ruby is better is the zangooe>seviper

Kyogre is much stronger than groudon. Maybe only in my opinion but i have both and groudon is weaker. I also prefer the colour blue and got sapphire first. In karate blue is a higher blet than red!

Okay, that's a poor way of judging but i still prefer sapphire...

I have never had or owned a zangoose, but maybe every other pokemon in the whole game (not on one file)!!!

ZANGOOSE will soon be with me lol. When i get XD or play my friends ruby lol.

well i agree 100% with volteon. all the other pokemon on saphire are better than ruby, but zangoose!

I like Sapphire better, perhaps because it was my first GBA game and game from across the world with my SP, or perhaps I'm just that way. I am a little Seedot crazy, though, so when I got Ruby I caught a lot of Seedots.

I love Kyogre. It is awesome, better than Groudon in my opinion. Plus, Blaziken is my favourite Pokemon, so I often start with Torchic and Kyogre fits in better with a Blaziken (as they're types are opposite) then a Groudon (types the same.)

All in all, I just like Sapphire better, even though Ruby is awesome too

I like sapphire because of the following:

-very first gba game i ever had,
-Kyogre is S-U-P-E-R-I-O-R to Groudon
-Lotad-Lombre-Ludicolo are better than seedot-nuzleaf-shiftry
-Lunatone>Solrock
-Seviper>Zangoose

Basically its all preference!

I picked groudon since a swords danced earthquake hurts kyogre badly. Kyogre needs the rain to boost its Surf. Groudon can kill alot rain or shine. Anyway, A groudon and kyogre battle (all of them have full spatk/atk and spdef/def). Groudon will have full attack and full defence and a adamant and kyogre with full special attack and full special defence while bring a modest. The last 4 Evs will go in HP.
Kyogre will not win all the time. Both of them have a chance to go first. If the weather is rainy kyogre kills groudon. If sunny, kyogre does about 60%. Groudon would kill kyogre in two earthquakes rain or shine. It all comes down to whether the weather is favourable, and groudon getting the 50% chance to go first on the death blow turn.
I have both versions, and I tried out both of them together. Groudon sword dances and can go on a killing spree. When kyogre is predicted to come in, I just swords dance so I can knock down kyogre in one hit on the next turn.

i think sapphire is the best (even i have it) cause if kyogre would battle with groudon kyogre will win (no offense to those groudon lovers!) cause water is strong to ground.. and if i will choose i chose sapphire!!

Sapphire is better, Kyogre learns better moves and its ability actually helps it...Not like Groudon

Kyogre > Groudon
Lunatone > Solorck
Seviper < Zangoose
Lotad > Seedot

I like Ruby due to the fact that when I first saw Groudon, I was instantly enthralled by his coolness. I was disappointed to find out he was a Ground-type instead of a Fire-type, and I lost a little respect for him (he'd by waaay cooler if he were a Fire-type). Though I agree Ky00ber would pwn Groudon in a serious battle, Groudon is superior in pure kewlness!

I just got Emerald, and it's superior to both Ruby and Sapphire, even in the early goings. You can get both Lotad and Seedot (though Seedot is more rare than Ralts), and the gyms are much more challenging with all those gang-up double battles.

Kyogre is much stronger than groudon. Maybe only in my opinion but i have both and groudon is weaker. I also prefer the colour blue and got sapphire first.

That sums up why I do!

Kyogre gets the best movepool, tramples Groudon and Rayquaza, gets Drizzle (which is very good) and can learn Thunder with its great ability.

I perfer Ruby, which was my first game out of the two.
Plus the pokemon are better

Zangoose>Seviper

I double team my groudon and kyogre, and my groudon sword dance earthquake does minimal to kyorge, and the best moveset (offensive) for kyorge should never have surf, i personally believe waterfall>surf....

so umm im still with sapphire...

Personally, I think they are both the same. It just depends on what Pokemon you want. For me either version is good because I love ghost Pokemon and both versions have ghost Pokemon . btw i have sapphire version

Ruby,Groudons drought combined with solarbeam means kyogre goes down,works all the time for me,or use thunderbolt,(Groudon also beat kyogre on tv)

The episode was horrible. i'm not going to rant on about the errors becaise it would take too long. they got everything wrong, period. they made kyogre look like some mad little dolphin, They COMPLETELY stripped it of it's grace!!!
They got everything wrong. kyogre can beat groudon anyday, in the game, in the anime. period. groudon embodies natural disasters:

mud shot-mud slide
earthquake
fire blast-forest fire
fissure
eruption
rock slide <--move tutor.

enough said. kyogre>groudon.

BTW sapphire is better than ruby because of kyogre. emerald is also better than ruby.
