Okay, as always, I don't have time to check every post in this forum so a mod, feel free to close this, but in the opening of Pokemon Advanced challange, Rukario is leaning on a tree whislt Mew flies by! Does this mean we'll here his grand english name soon? Post whatcha think about this here.

Simply no, he hasn't even shown up in the Japanese season yet. Which is probably why they removed it from the opening.

Brittan is slightly ahead of us they removed it in the Claydol epi I think. (Correct me if I'm wrong.)

That's not a very wise idea, now, is it?

Besides, the main page has episode guides and pictures for all episodes that have aired in Japan. Also, plenty of legendaries have appeared in intros in the past (Don't give me any "LuCaRiO mAy NoT bE a LeGeNdArY" crap), and many haven't meant squat. This particular one is simply an 8th Movie reference.

Very true, but I felt it was special because we, in North America, shouldn't already know about Rukario. If it weren't for Serebii.net and the other actually good Pokemon sites, everyone would say " What the crap is that Blue dog thing?"

PS: If I checked every post in the forum, I'd be dead already.

What do you mean? The Rukario thing wasn't in the Known Apperances, and I love Rukario... so, I noticed him in it, and thought it would be nice to bring up the subject.

Well, the only place Rukario's been scene is in its debut, [SPOIL]the 8th movie: Mew and the Wave Guiding Hero.[/SPOIL] I'm only tagging that as a spoiler just in case, but if you regularly see the main page, you probably already know about this.

The very reason Lucario and Myuu are in the opening is because the scene was taken from a Japanese opening that aired AFTER the third AG movie had premiered. Japan was already well aware of who Lucario was, especially since he and Myuu were in that movie together.

4Kids got way ahead of themselves and weren't even aware that Lucario had no English name or debut. That's why it's been removed.

Yeah the last thing I heard was that Rukario's name here in America is Lucario. Yes I saw this on a website. Well it's still there in advance battle because i watched it yesterday. Nothing like that has changed. Lucario is still there

Not it isn't. It's just the Romanized name, not it's English name.

What the hell does that have to do with anything regarding the topic?

The reason is that 4Kids very stupidly put japanese scenes from Battle frontier series in the opening.

BTW, it was changed in 'Once in a mawile'

I don't get why that's a problem. I mean, I know that 4Kids put in Rukario in a theme song a little bit too early (waits for all the "a little?!"s), but why should we know every single character that appears in a theme song?

Trust me, it wouldn't take too long to find something about Rukario if you look in the right places.

The fact that Nintendo has absolutely showed no info regarding Diamond and Pearl in Japan aside from a few Pokémon and what their types are, no official English names were made by Nintendo of America and have not even been unveiled by them mean NOTHING to you?

4Kids is NOT responsible for what goes on in Pokémon. They are to simply hold the license of the anime and everything regarding it. They aren't allowed to unveil anything big without Nintendo's consent. Hence why Lucario was removed in the opening of the English dub a few episodes after.
