looking over the games I don't see either lines being separate. Closest is when Cloyster was in SWSH by itself until Slowpoke was added in DLC

Nah, it's always possible more pokemon could show up in the post-game, like in Legends Arceus.

Yeah but the only Pokemon that showed up after Arceus in the Hisuian Dex were the mythical Pokemon. That could be the case again with Volcanion, Diancie, and Hoopa.
In legends arceus they responded to if you had existing save data so it made sense to be after arceus and manaphy so it didn't look incomplete (and manaphy was a cross game event). I don't know how it will function this time around considering the whole functionality on switch and switch 2. If it was just on the switch Id guess it would work if you had the right game data. (E.g Volcanion if you have Legends arceus data, diancie if you have scarlet or violet and Hoopa if you have BDSP data) but i'm not sure when it comes to the switch 2 as well.
As for the Let's Go and Sword/Shield data, I would guess exclusive outfits and accessories.

not too bad if it’s legit. I like that it essentially grew a red mask over its face. Reminds me of Regidrago

Let’s Go I could see them giving us either a Mewtwo of some sort (so we can have both Megas) and SwSh I’m thinking maybe the Galarian Legendary Bird Trio. It’d make sense as the original forms are in the Kalos Dex already and Arceus gave us an Alolan Vulpix and while we don’t know for sure there aren’t any Kalos based regional forms, ones from other regions aren’t said to be excluded either.
That and technically speaking the Galar legendary birds aren't limited to Galar according the lore. They actually migrate around and apparently arrive back in the crown tundra every few decades. I don't expect the Galar legendary birds in game but there's technically no lore reason they couldn't.

So basically all the sources of the 26 Mega list also confirmed that the leaked image of Mega Feraligatr was real, but now we have confirmation from the artist himself it was fake.
On top of that, Pory_leeks recently said an image of Lumineon going around was from Gen 10 game, but it was later found out it was a shot from Pokémon Snap 2.
This definitely puts all the leaks we had in question.

Is that 100% confirmed because I if I recall back during the leak cycle of the Black & White the final evolution of the starters were leaked and someone claimed to be the artist behind them and said they were fake only for the leak to turn out to be real.

pretty much what the deal is, is that all the text is apparently legit
its just that with descriptions present, that gives any fakemon artist the blueprints to "match" those designs and create fake leaks for clout and fun.
best to just keep to the more reliable sources for now.
Even the more reliable sources I think it's always best to be slightly cautious on those as well. There can be later changes or additions made while the games are developed which happen after the information they had or things are open to misinterpretation.

The thing is that the list was provided by three sources: Centro, Pory and Ball Guy. There was the 4chan leaker as well, but the validity of his information was assured because the sources above vouched for him (so his reliability is entirely dependent on theirs as well).
And now, Centro and Pory proved to not be truly reliable, since something they had confirmed to be real is unquestionable fake. So if we are treating them as non reliable source, the list automatically comes into question as they are the source of the list (except for Ball Guy).
I do think (hope?) the list is real, but we can't treat it with the same level of certainty now that its sources were proven to be unreliable.

You say this this but there have been images that have been leaked before that people claimed were clearly fake only for said image to turn out to be real.
If I recall for instance back before Let’s Go Pikachu & Eevee were announced a image f the game leaked and some people were quick to claim it was fake only for it to turn out that it was real.
