Yeah, I'm just not seeing it in the 3D models.
They still look pretty cartoony to me.
They still look pretty cartoony to me.
I personally like the way they rendered the likeness of the human 2D designs in the overworld models better in SWSH.
I think you've just managed to convince me to get Violet instead of Scarlet lolYour profile picture made me start pondering on the idea that Toxtricity (particularly its amped form) might be related to Miraidon.

I'd say low-key form, tho
I mean, Diancie is a mutated CarbinkYour profile picture made me start pondering on the idea that Toxtricity (particularly its amped form) might be related to Miraidon.
yeah, I thought "both" too as soon as I posted it. i'm just not very fond of amped. still low-key is one of my favorites everIt kind of looks like a mix between the two actually! But most of it is mostly blue so I think that you are mostly right!
Yeah that's exactly what they reminded me of as well since they were revealed; a studio Ghibli style.Huh, I don't see character models as realistic. It's more like Studio Ghibli style whose eye design is smaller and round even in child characters. Compared to original Pokémon human designs, their eye designs are more like oval and narrow iris/pupil. Also, large in younger characters.

It's definitely more subdued than the style of the human characters in the older games, especially SwSh, but that's nirlt necessarily a bad thing (especially considering some of the...stranger...designs we had in SwSh, like Milo, the police man trainer class and Swordward/Shielbert)
At first I was worried the characters might end up looking too similar, but the last Trailer really showed off the wide, distinctive range they have.
He sort of looked like a bizarre clown. Almost like a Mr Mime but less clown like but more cartoony somehow? I mean how is that face supposed to make people comfortable asking him for help?Yeah the Sword and Shield Police officer was a bit weird. Seems like they will be a bit more toned down.

My best guess is that they wanted to make the police officer look as non-threatening as possible, and accidentality ended up making him looking creepy as all hell.
Or not make him smile that way. That’s what disturbed me the most.Oh man, the cop was creepy.
Just having him blink would have helped so much.

You missed two. Gym leaders in any order is confirmed, and raid battles are confirmed.Taking into account yesterday's presentation, I take another look at the leaks we have (page 1).
