Idc if we have only 80 new Pokemon, as long as we have regional forms for post gen 1 Pokemon

We seem to be on a good track for that.

In Sun & Moon, all of the regional variants were Gen 1; in SWSH a little over half of them were Gen 1, and in Legends only 25% of them are Gen 1.

gen 1 will still be a focus to regional variants due to being the oldest group of Pokemon and often being the ones most affected by powercreep.

regional variants and evolutions are suppose to give new life for in-game usage, not just for a different design.

I do hope to see this continue also. Of the 16 Hisuian variants, only 4 were Kanto Pokemon, compared to how only Kanto Pokemon got variants in Alola. I do hope to see only a small percentage of Pokemon from Kanto getting regional variants. I do hope that Johto, Hoenn, and Alola get some variants.

I like Champions with teams that have more diverse typings, personally. I think it shows they build their teams to be as balanced as possible rather than because they have a passion for a particular type, which often matches the player (since most people either use their favourites or strive for diversity outside of monotype challenges or the like). Honestly I'd like the Elite 4 to be similar, use the gyms to show off types and let the Elite 4 demonstrate themes or styles? You could have a weather specialist whose choice of weather depends on your starter (Hail teams against your Grass starter, Rain teams against your Fire starter, Sun teams against your Water starter) or members with themes tied to the region (I'm not particularly knowledgeable about Spain/Portugal to talk about their culture, but in Galar for example you could've had a music-based member (yes Piers exists but he doesn't really count) or a nautical seafaring member). That would be a nice challenge towards the end of the game I think, plus you could keep the SwSh gym leader tournament before to test your mettle before the final bosses - maybe treat it like Victory Road?

As for regional variants, Kanto is definitely getting some more representation on that front in Gen 9 - I don't really mind this as I think after 25+ years some of the Pokemon there could use a new lease on life, especially if we're giving them regional evolutions like Sirfetch'd and Ursaluna! I think seeing some more Johto, Unova and Kalos representation within that would be nice too - Johto is also 20+ years old at this point whilst some of the Pokemon from Unova and Kalos are quite forgettable in their own ways? I think we could see 100 new Pokemon in Scarlet/Violet with 15 or so regional variants (regional evolutions not included since they'd be new Pokemon entirely) - 115 "new" Pokemon would be better than what we had previously I think.

This is it for me. Outside of Gen VII where they very actively excluded non-Gen I Pokemon for no good reason, the spread of which Pokemon get attention has never been a problem for me. I care far more about which Pokemon are getting some (hopefully much needed and deserved) attention than which Generation they fall under; there are still some Gen I Pokemon very deserving of that treatment.

What we need is the original form of Yungoos, since it's not from Alola.

Perhaps it can be from this new region?

Oh I definitely want regional forms from various regions, and I think after SwSh and Legends, there is no way they go back to giving regional forms to Kanto mons exclusively (in fact it's so unlikely that I don't even understand why we are debating this)

I'm pretty sure a big part of why there were only forms of Kanto mons in SuMo was in preparation of the Let's Go games. It's no concidence that the majority of the Alola Forms have types that were absent or under-represented in the original Kanto dex (Dark, Steel, Ghost, Fairy, Ice, Dragon)

Centro is giving an update on Home. Chances are the info is being taken from another source, but here it is
Notice also that Centro hasn't been sharing Khu's tweets? One of the things Khu threw a fit over? Notice that Khu continues these petty insults, despite Centro not even doing anything currently.
Even though Centro is just a hub that takes things from other places and doesn't seem to really provide anything of their own, I always found so funny how they would completely disregard Khu insults and just retweet his stuff regardless. It's like they devalued his opinion to such and extent and only saw him as a dehumanized "material source", they couldn't even bother to edit the insults out of his posts and just retweet as it was.
It was like a major move that somehow made Khu, the person with actual "valuable" content, look like he was despairing to be noticed by a person who was basically just leeching him. It's just... masterful.

I personally think he really needs to fight back against Khu, but he's certainly showing he's a lot more mature than Khu by not sitting there insulting Khu on every post. He's said stuff like he lives rent free in Khu's mind though, which is accurate. Centro isn't a credible source in his own regards, but I'd rather get my info from him that's been pulled from other sources with how Khu has behaved.

Ugh god! Now we have drama between the various leakers? Who needs that?
Its been a thing since the beginning of Legends Arceus leak season.

Khu didn't like Centro posting his info without linking it to Khu as well as getting some things wrong due to going off of some poor answers for the original riddles.

Since then Khu has been throwing schoolyard insults at Centro and addressing him as "puppy' evertime Khu posts something, trying to goad him into taking the bait....

It really is **** that the guy who has access to real info, is a piece of ****....

Its unbelievably childish and petty. Its why I hate this guy and get tired of people blindly worshipping him because he has real leaks.

And honestly, Khu's reasons are very childish. I can understand not liking having your leaks taken and passed off as your own, but Centro DID stop and started linking Khu's tweets. Being mad because someone gets the answer wrong is also very childish, and honestly, his riddles and tweets are extremely vague so I don't blame Centro for being wrong on things. I still remember him throwing tantrums and threatening to stop posting leaks during PLA leak season. I recall Khu intentionally posting fake leaks also to bait Centro, then mock him for taking the bait.

If he could just post some leaks without the unnecessary insults towards Centro, things would be fine. Apparently I hear he's been attacking r/PokeLeaks, mocking others who call out his toxic behavior, and intentionally inserting petty insults into his vague posts because he KNOWS people hate it. He might have accurate info, but he's the worst.

Also seeing that people seem to feel a lot differently about Riddler Khu here compared to Bulbagarden. Some practically worship him there and defend his behavior while attacking people like Centro. Here there's more that seem less tolerable of his behavior.

Khu is an annoying bratty rat but unfortunately he's the only reliable rat around. And Centro can piss off tho anyways.

Y'all, should we really be pressed over someone stealing stolen information? lol

They're leakers, y'all. What they're doing is technically illegal, just seldom enforced. Let's not make a fuss over the morality of misdeeds.
