In the pokemon world, humans have been precieved to be… separate… from pokemon. Some kind of higher form that dominate the earth with their politics and technology, rather than their feelings and instinct. They command pokemon to battle with mastery, their companions loyally taking their wounds, and in some cases, unwillingly. But that’s the wat humans are. Out of touch with morality, with nature, with the very life force of this planet. Their own life power cannot be measured to that of a pokemon.
Approximately 1 million years ago, the first modern humans appeared gradually, spreading out across the world, learning to master all kinds of pokemon to use as labour, or just for company. As their populations grew, smaller, less technologically orientated cultures became swamped out, and forgotten about.
But, they never vanished.
These humans are separate blood species. Evolving in isolated societies, they kept use of their life power, the very same power that pokemon use, and kept in touch with nature. They all exist in one region – the Dark Isles. They were named so by explorers, who reported of real-life demons living on the islands. They span over an area the size of Johto and Kanto put together, and are comprised of a main land, with a volcano a few miles inland, and several rocky islands surrounding.
Today, humans live on the island in Sunstone Town. It’s a friendly place, with modern stores and facilities. It’s nicely dotted with tropical trees, cycads and a strange, towering tree called a Tupe, only found on this island. It sports a Gym, leader Harley, who specialises in heavy pokemon. Many trainers here train under Harley, looking forward to the annual Sunstone Pokemon Championships held in an old, unused soccer stadium.
Every so often the news will report of a meanace that strikes the town very rarely – the Sapimon. The humans know very little about the creatures themselves, but shun them anyway. There are four races of Sapimon, humans with pokemon abilities:
Water Type Sapimon
A race that exist in the river basin, just off the Azumaril Mountains that act as the Island's spine. They live in tropical conditions, swimming in the large, meandering rivers and resting on rocks to bathe in the sun. The water they exist in is murky, and when they reach clear water downstream they enter their prime.
Strengths are Speed, Special Attack and HP. Weakness is Special Defense.
They go by a peculiar appearance. Their skin is gray, with shades of pink, white and blue stretching like marble, usually on their arms and face. They are larger than humans and very streamlined, with with pointier mouths and noses, and their skull has a crest running from the forehead to the back, much like a fin on the back of a dolphin. Their ribs are stronger and less brittle, and chest is larger.
By nature they're very shy and harmless. They don't like confrontation, and don't follow any path in life. They drift through life to see where it takes them. Though some are very fussy about their appearance and some get jealous easily.

Fire Type Sapimon
The live on and around the volcano, Mt. Slugma. A volcano with steady, predictable lava flows allows these creatures to stay alive. While they can't survive the scorching heat of hot magma, they can withstand fire and know how to control it. And respect it.
Strengths are Attack, Special Attack and Special Defense. Weakness is low HP.
They are covered in a black soot that clings, and are assumed to have red skin underneath. This red skin can be revealed in elaborate war patterns. They generally look like normal humans, appart from sharp canines and flaming fur on their forearms which are used for attacking. They are slightly smaller in body mass to regulate their body temperatures in the scorching sun of the lava fields and the heat emitted from the magma under them.
Fire Sepimon are very short tempered and quite violent. They have a tendancy to attack first, enquire later. However they're very protective of their young. Being stubborn, too, they're not quick to let go of their beliefs of the scoffed at Moltres that decends uppon the volcano every so often.

Ground Type Sapimon
Perhaps the most friendly of the races, they live in the cliffs facing a desert to the East. They live there in caves and digging for a root called the Carriot. Very tasty, the basis of their diet. They're said to have powers of magnetism, and can create earthquakes when enraged.
Their strengths are Defense, Attack and HP. Their weakness is Special Attack.
They look very heavily built - their upper back muscles and forearms arms are well developed, and for being slow, they're very agile. On their hands are long nails, no good for manipulating tools, very good for digging. They love to dig, and a layer of dirt over their bodies acts as an insect repellant and sunscreen. They usually only wear animal skin.
They're not too smart, but very lovable. They never go and explore - they love home too much. They're also very cultural and traditional, passing on old lessong to their young and rarely making adjustments. Their numbers are very low and only exist as small tribes.

They live in the dark forests to the West. During the day, little light reaches the forest floor. At night, Dark Sapimon come out to hunt and kill. They won't stray too far from the forests, but are most feared by humans. They are vicius and twisted.
Their strengths are Attack, Speed and Special Attack. Their Weakness is Defense.
In good health, they have pale skin and a very flexible body. They sport a pair of black wings, and are the only Sapomon that are rumoured to be able to evolve by drinking human blood at night. They are dressed in black drabs, accessorised by status-boosting Sapimon wooden jewlery. Their pupils turn red when they're in their freakish state.
Despite being so scary, they have a strict leadership system. The lowest in usefullness is lowest in the pecking order, except childeren who are needed to carry on their bloodline. Some carry 'Curanty Berries'. This boosts their fighting, putting them in a trippy berserk state. Attack is maximised, Speed boosted, but Confusion inflicted, too.

There has been tension between the Darks and the humans. Fearing war, people want all races in unity. Others want them all left alone, and the Darks annihilated. Three groups exist:

NOTE: Due to some confusion, I'd like to remind that if you choose to play a Sapimon and not a human, you will have to take into consideration that all 4 races have little/no amenities that humans have. That means different/lack of technology, different kinds of clothes, etc. If it doesn't state in the description what the Sapimon wear, make it up, but keep it low tech.
This RPG will follow each group as a seperate story - groups will meet, fight, or even unite. Each update should have your group name at the top in colour, so it's easier to follow.

Appearance: Kincaid is a dark type sapimon who satnds at about 5'7" with the build of someone in okay physical condtion but after he feeds his muscles seem to bulge out a little more. His hair is covered by thin white hair that is usually just tossed about his head. Kincaids eyes are usually in the shadows of his short but very sharp horns his eyes have amlost no iris just all deep black pupil. He has thin pale lips covering his sharp straight teeth. He had an armband on each arm with three murkow feathers dangling from it the band itself was amde of a dark gray fur of some sort. The same type of fur used to make the skirt/kilt thing wrapped around his waist. He had four long scars across his chest from some type of scrap with another sapimon. His finger nails were actually claws that were usually dirty or chipped from using them to grip as he hunted or climbed a tree. He had short muscular legs used for sprinting and leaping onto prey or to help him take off into flight using his large black wings. His wings were about double the length of his arm span his wings had a few sparatically placed puncture wounds from humans, sapimon, and pokemon fights. They had they the feel of stretched out leatherand shined like just polished boots. His enhancing jewelery is a wooden ring that stores a little bit of energy everytime he uses his right hand or arm for that matter. He unleashes the energy at will in a beam of energy. The ring takes quite some time to charge enough to kill or seriously injure someone.
Personality: Kincaid is a head strong vicous killer. He mostly kills for the hunt but if hes full and bored he'll kil to train himself and test his abilities. He never thinks to disregard the sapimon above him in rank. He is perhaps a little too loyal to his commanders he hears anyone disrespect them he will do unimagineable tortures to them.
History: Kincaid was born form the second in command kinto his father and the sixth in command Beagut his motherKincaid was showered by love from all the tribe they helped him in his devolopment. he always wanted to go on the hunt but sometimes wasnt permitted to due to his lack of experience and strength so he would use the time to train and practice techniques. He fears of being deemed useless so he always goes out of the way to help the pack. he almost died once when he tried to take down a full gorwn khangaskahn on his own. He escaped with only a broken arm and 3 cracked ribs. It took him 6 months to heal completly and while that happened he was deemed useless. he wished he would have just been trampled to death. As soon as he was healed he did everything in his power to become stronger than ever before and thats how he got the fourth in command of his pack.
Misc:Kincaid hates khangaskahn for what happened to him he will always choose the option to hunt them instead of anything else. Kincaid also has two pokemon partners a male houndour named Feuer and a male absol named Nacht

She wears her dyed red hair in an odd fashion: Long fringe, that moves round to the back of the head and meets at a point. Her eyes are soft, darkened with a little makeup, and are hazel in colour. Her face is rounded, lips pouted like little cushions somewhere in the middle of her face. She always looks as if she's up to mischeif, the corners of her mouth creeping around as if there are naughty thoughts going through her head - harmless, really.
Her clothes are loose, in purples and grays. Her t-shirt, loose and long, is purple. She has a see-through long sleeved top underneath this, joining her silver bracelet at her wrist. Jeans are basic - ordinary, all one length, over her short, under-used legs. She has a pair of black boots, which she refuses to take of anywhere, except the shower and her bed.
Short, very unhealthy. A girl that doesn't look after her health, she is very frail and thin. Her skin is pale, and she can barely run a few metres without getting tired.
Personality: Always craving attention. She is seen as extremely immature, with no path or purpose in life. Has been known to randomly play pranks on people, and be proud of her punishment, because someone has actually NOTICED her. Otherwise, she's widely ignored, especially by her father who keeps her. He has been the inflictor of many mental, and physical, scars on this girl's fragile frame. At other times, when he's sober, he's a wonderful, caring, loving dad.
She doesn't even know it, but she has life harsh. Yet she sontinues on her usual way as if nothing was wrong - life is blissful. She loves her father, but doesn't know why he hits her. But, she doesn't think about it much, either, and takes everything at her stride. It's difficult for her to get by with so many bullies out after her alone, but she pulls through every beating with an uncanny will to live.
Since the opening of Destiny, she has shown a great interest, and perhaps is beginning to focus for the first time since her mother met a new man and left. All she really wants is to be a part of something, in a group. Never being accepted by other kids, she's been lonely all of her teenage life, and the start of adulthood. But with Destiny, she has something to stand for, even if it's someone else's beliefs and not her own. You could say, she's just going along with the crowd. But since doing so, she's even questioned her father's back hand.
History: She was very ordinary before her mother started seeing another man. When she would get up in the middle of the night, she remembered her mother, with this strange man, telling her to hush and not tell her dad. Of course, being just a small child, she did tell, resulting in her mother leaving, and her father drinking. Being the bearer of the bad news, she recieved a regular beating from her dad whenever he got drunk.
The pain of missing her mum, and from her dad going downhill, caused her to put up a mental shield. Now, she doesn't care about anything - except Destiny.
