The manga is different then the anime, it has manga exclusive characters (the anime also has exclusive characters) the manga also features different scenes, and a lot of the scenes that are the same in the anime and manga have different dialogue.

Yugioh 5D's- When Z One sacrifices himself to save the world after almost destroying it.
Naruto- Pretty much every time that sad music comes on.

That's interesting, does it essentially have the same story/ending though? I've always thought about reading it but haven't gotten around to it. Would you recommend it?

That scene is always bitter sweet for me. It's a shame the English dub took out Yugi's little speech after the credits, I thought it left the story on a much happier note.
